I am age 70, and 5’3”. Bought. 3XL and it is very roomy and too long. I hemmed it up 2.5”. This dress is true to size. I should have bought a 2XL…..but I hand rinsed the dress and put it in the dryer on “regular” heat to shrink it. The fabric crinkled up a little, but not too much. It reminds me of “crinkle clothe or Seersucker” after it has been in the dryer. See photos. With my 47” bust, even after shrinking a little in the dryer, this is still loose on me. Very comfortable. The fabric is lightweight, soft, and cool. The side pockets are deep and a must for me!! I bought 3 of these dresses, and each color & floral print is darling. Colors did not run when I hand washed in cold water.If your bust is 47”-49” the 3XL will be roomy, even after drying in a hot dryer. I may iron one dress just to see how it looks without crinkles. I’m a country lady, so wrinkles, crinkles, and puckers are fine with me….gives it a real layered, country look. Just my style. I highly recommend this garment.

My daughter and I both bought this dress and came to realize it shrinks really bad. So we ordered up 2 sizes and then washed it in cold water separately as the colors are vibrant and bleed the first wash. Then we dried it lightly for a short time and hung it up. The fabric shrunk to have a lovely texture and less see through. Then we really liked it and it fit! Because it is still slightly sheer my daughter searched and found a nice slip to go underneath and together she was really happy with her new outfit. I bought two of these dresses and wore one the day I received it. The material is very thin and see through. I took a cotton crepe lining from an old skirt and made a slip to wear under the dress. If you don’t wear something underneath it, you will be exposed.The dresses are light and airy and good for summer, but they could be a tad bit heavier fabric to make it less transparent. I do like the colors and patterns of the ones I picked. I will keep them, but they should come clean about what kind of fabric is used. It is too thin and did not shrink (which is a good thing) at all in the wash like cotton would do. I paid about $20 each for the dresses.

I just love this dress! It is so comfortable, light weight and true to size. I usually wear XL, that is what I bought and it fits perfectly! My arms are on the fatter side and the sleeves in this were not tight at all. It is really sheer so I wore a half slip under it, no big deal. I have gotten many compliments on it. I washed it in cold water and hung it to dry. It did shrink up a little but that was good for me because I am 5’6 1/2” & it was a little too long & I was tripping on it at first, now it is perfect in length for me.

I bought this for something comfortable, yet functional for doing moderate chores around the house with young children and running errands around town.I liked the idea of a lightweight flowy material for summer to keep cool. But it's so lightweight, it's perfectly see thru. I did have something to layer underneath.. but then that defeated the purpose. I could have saved it for a lazy day at home or for a nice outing without errands. But again, not why I bought it. I needed it to be functional and cool. Layering made it no longer as cool and breathable. And because of how thin it is, I was afraid I might tear it easily during chores or if my 2 younger boys decided to come and pull on the skirt part at all.My shoulders are somewhat broad and moving certain ways, I was also afraid that the shoulder or back area might rip if I moved too quickly.I ended up returning it because it was not made for the purpose I bought it. It is good for a lounging day or casual outing where one does not mind wearing another layer underneath. It is not good for a working/chore outfit in hot weather.

I would say not to bother if you're expecting this dress to look like it does on the model in the listing or in the video. The fabric is coarse and dull and unattractive. The skirt is stiff and long and skimpy in width and drape. I'm realistic in my 2X size, but this little number was a major disappointment. The fabric is nothing like it looks on the listing. I waited for it to arrive in anticipation of having a cool, breezy summer dress. I wanted to like, but I had to return. So sorry.

I LOVE this dress. It is comfortable; looks and fits exactly as pictured. It runs a bit large, and I would order a size smaller if I were to order it again; I am pear shaped and tend to order larger sizes because of larger hips. So I would suggest if you do order, order based on the size you would wear in a shirt and not worry about how it fits through the hip area! My only negative is that It is that the material is a little on the thin side, but I think it will be fine since it is so full.

I actually love this dress although it is not flattering (it is not slimming and because I have a full bosom, I look as though I am pregnant.). Because of this fact I wear it only in the house. But it is the most comfortable dress and the blue color is so beautiful. It washes well, and I hang it to dry. Does not need ironing. I feel good anytime I wear it.
