Aluminum 6101-T61 Extruded Round Pipe, Schedule 40, ASTM B317

I bought this for a Festivous pole for my yard. It works great for that - 5 feet tall, just under 2" OD, reasonably shiny aluminum.This is exactly as described. It's thick enough walls and the 6101 alloy is harder than plain aluminum, so it is not going to be easily bent if you are using it for structural purposes. It drills and taps pretty well. The tube is moderately shiny as received and I believe it would take a good polish. If you are going to use it outdoors and want it to remain shiny, you need to at least rub it down with WD-40 or an automotive wax.

It's a rawly finished aluminum pole. Some of us find tinsel distracting. This also takes up much less space than a tree, and presents can stay in closets until time to be opened, no more cluttering up the house with 'things'! Also, works wonders for feats of strength and the airing of grievances!

Just got it and the Wall and ID measurements are wrong its 1.6" ID and a wall of .15" not .1"I can use it for a project but not for what I was intending.

Great pipe but the ID they list is incorrect.
