is the backlight always on, or can you turn it off?

Yea, if you’re on a Mac & you’ve enabled the F1 - F12 keys you have to press “fn” + light dimmer (which is the F5 button) on the keyboard if you want it 100% off.

I read that there is no number lock when using this keyboard for Mac. Is this true, and if so, what is the point of having the tenkey section?

Ive heard sum keyboards are like that too, but not this one. All keys work for Mac & PC

Any Mac user? Is that all function keys are working with M1?

I am running several M1 Mac minis and all the functional keys are working at 100%. Feel free to purchase they all work as expected on M1 chip Mac mini.....
