Jay Robb Whey Protein Pina Colada - 24 oz

This is definitely pricier than other protein powders on the market, but the ingredients are far superior. The pina coloda flavor is yummy and makes any smoothie tastier. I like the unadulterated whey and use of Stevia rather than aspartame. At first the package seemed a little small for the price, but I soon realized that it lasts quite a long time. Granted, I don't have a protein shake everyday, but I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the one bag. It got my father-in-law through a bout of the flu recently . He suffers from Parkinson's and had no appetite. But with a handful of organic blueberries and a smoothie a day, he recovered in no time. The high protein count helped since he wasn't getting enough nutrients on his own. Compare ingredients, you'll see the difference.

I love the way this mixes smoothly with no gritty texture. It blends into a nice smooth smoothie. I tried it first with coconut milk and it ended up too think and a little slimy so I tried it with water and liked it better. But when I tried it with Hansens diet tangerine lime I loved it! Of course it expands quite a bit with the soda so needs the full size blender and not a bullet.

I broke my jaw last winter and had to go on a liquid diet. I am lactose intolerant and needed a non-dairy protein source. That's hard to do as most supplement drinks contain lactose.The Jay Robb products got me through my healing. The Jay Robb products gave me back my energy and unlike plant based supplements, these powders tasted good. I'm still using them. I put some of the weight I lost back on, and as I liked how I felt after my recovery, I am going on a low carb approach to eating.. Jay Robb's powder fits into that plan as part of my daily intake.I hope this review crosses to all of the Jay Robb flavors as they were all excellent.

It's OK, i like vanilla better.

I've been taking different proteins for 2 years for muscle building. I am a very natural eater that does not like any supplements or forms of chemicals. I drink strictly water and eat all organic healthy. I found this and I am so pleased! Total answer to prayers. No added crap and still tastes wonderful!! Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and pina colada are all awesome. I sometimes add water and ice and little bit of fruit or just put with water in shAker cup. Either way I love them!! Highly recommend.Also I don't eat dairy bc it messes with my stomach. This stuff is very Easy in my stomach!!

Much better tasting than the Vanilla! Pair with blueberries and coconut milk, throw in some ice cubes and you've got a great after-workout meal!

My friend recommend it. It was tasteless ... I didn't taste Pena colada I couldn't even doctor it up. I put pineapple and coconut milk. I gave up. I bought such a big bag

This was the first protein powder to make me not hate whey protein. I started out mixing with water and just having straight. I've now discovered that I can mix this with a little ice, frozen pineapples, water and a dash of coconut flavoring. It's like a pina colada right off a cruise ship but so much healthier! I use one of Jay Robb's protein powders every day, as does my husband and on some days my daughter. We all love it!
