I would give this 10/5 stars if I could. Fantastic sunscreen, especially if you have mature and/or sensitive skin. I've tried everything: Supergoop, Neutragena, La Roche Posay, other versions of Elta sunscreen. This is BY FAR the best. A holy grail product. Pros: No white cast, no smell, not greasy, great under make-up (makes a great primer), lightweight, doesn't cause breakouts, doesn't look shiny or settle into pores. Cons: It ain't cheap. But it's worth it. Tip: Let this set for at least 15 minutes before applying foundation. Once I started started doing this, my foundation (Victoria Beckham) glides on beautifully and stays all day. It's the perfect primer. Use about half a teaspoonful for face and neck.

I’ve been using this product for about one year. Wow! It’s actually improved my skin tone and color. I can’t say enough about how much I like it. I wear it everyday. It’s my base moisturizer, then I do my makeup. No white look. Not sticky. It’s just perfect. Too expensive for sure. But far superior to anything I’ve ever used. Recommended by my dermatologist. Will be hard to get me to switch to anything else.

Absolutely amazing! I like how it tones down the red in my face and leaves a glowy finish. I like that it has a sunscreen also, but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. One of my new staples!

Backstory: I have incredibly sensitive skin. Everything under the sun breaks me out no kidding. If I don't wash my sheets every four days, I break out. I've tried Eucerin, La Roche Posay, Neutrogena and other sunscreen brands that have broken me out or caused irritation even though they claim to work for sensitive and acne prone skin. Finding a sunscreen that doesn't trigger my acne or make me incredibly greasy is pretty much asking for a unicorn. Well, I found the unicorn. This sunscreen cancels out any red tones on my skin and makes my tinted moisturizer look like foundation without the weight and cakeyness. It dries completely. I put it on at 6am and even by 2pm my face isn't oily at all (mind you, I have oily skin too). It is so good I can moisturize and still wear this on top without my makeup sliding around. My absolute holy grail. I will purchase every time and I highly recommend.

Definitely keeps my redness at bay. It doesn’t break me out and goes nicely under makeup. The only negative would be that I can’t use around my eyes. It causes my eyes to water.

This sunscreen feels lightweight, calming, and comfortable on sensitive skin. It doesn’t leave my face greasy or heavy, and the zinc oxide formula feels gentle even when my skin is irritated or recovering. It blends in nicely, gives good hydration, and works well under makeup without pilling. I also like that it doesn’t have a strong scent and doesn’t cause breakouts. Definitely one of the better mineral sunscreens I’ve tried.

I bought this untinted sunscreen for good protection, and so far it works really well. I haven’t gotten sunburned while using it. I also really like the texture after applying it. At first it looks like it leaves a white cast, but if you wait a couple of minutes and apply a thin layer, it adjusts to your skin tone quite nicely. It also works great under makeup. The only problem is that after a couple of hours it starts to irritate my eyes if I apply it around or near them. My eyes begin to water, so I can’t use it in the eye area. Unfortunately, that’s the only negative thing for me. Everything else about the sunscreen has been perfect.

EltaMD UV Skin Recovery Face Sunscreen, SPF 50, 1.7 oz I have used several EltaMD sunscreens over the years and liked how they fit into my routine, so when this newer tinted version was released, I wanted to try it. I have been using it each morning as my main face sunscreen. The formula spreads easily and blends in smoothly without streaks or patchiness. The green tint looks noticeable at first but blends in quickly and did not leave any visible cast once applied. My skin looked more even after application, especially around my nose where it typically gets red. Some sunscreens tend to leave my skin feeling dry, but with this one my skin felt soft and comfortable. Throughout the day, I did not notice stinging, irritation, dryness, or increased redness. It has earned a regular place in my daily routine.
