I was pretty pleased. I got a case of 12 and it had 6 different meals(2 of each) so i like the variety there . I only ate one. No chickpeas lol. Got sunflower kernels. I got taco pasta, chicken noodle, chicken chunk, pizza, jalapeno pepper beef patty and creamy spinach fettuccini. Overall I got a great variety considering it's an mre and the freshness is the best. Will last till 2025 probably. I would absolutely recommend them. I got a heck of a deal too considering someone said they paid 200. I paid almost half that

These MREs are a cut above the rest. The food quality is higher, and the frameless is very fast and efficient. I had used the last of my MREs during the latest winter storm when the power went out and went ahead and ordered another case. They make you feel human again for sure. I’ll always keep a few of these around for the fam and neighbors.

I ordered at 10:00 AM on a Friday. It showed up at my door before 15:30 on Saturday! Very fast. I am extremely pleased with that. There are 6 different menus/meals. You get 2 of each. Not a big problem but I am former USMC and am used to getting 12 different menus/meals in a case. I haven't tried them all yet. I purchased them for a Pike's Peak hike with my son. These will negate the need for a stove and cookware needed for most "Mountain Home" style camping foods. Water activated flameless heaters and eat it out of the pouch. He and I will let you know how it turns out. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that I was expecting 12 different meals. UPDATE: Meals were fine. Exactly as expected. A little bulkier and heavier than freeze dried foods. But again, no real need for pots, stoves, fuel etc.

Very Happy. Got the 2022 bulk 12 pack. Great menu choice, 1 pizza, 1 cheese tortellini, 2 Italian sausage, 2 beef strips in savory, 2 chicken salad, 2 vegetarian taco pasta, 2 chili with beans. I tried the Chicken Salad first. Happily, surprised how delicious and fresh tasting everything was. Heat bag, yes. No coffee in this meal. Came with grape drink mix that did not need any sugar. Blueberry cobble and oatmeal cookie, yes please. The expiration dates that I found after cyphering the overly complicated expiration date system they use were still good, 2024 -25 clearly marked on some items. A bit on the pricey side but not by too much. Would buy again, yes.

These were awesome! When we first got our box we decided to try one of the meals and split it between the 3 of us (myself, husband, and daughter).. every single item we tried (several in ONE meal) we ALL went; "mmmmmm" in surprise because we expected it to be disgusting. We were quite pleasantly surprised when it was actually decent tasting.. maybe the end of the world won't be so bad after all! lol Also, delivery was very fast. Very satisfied with this order.

Just to start out the product was purchased as a back-up for either hiking, hunting or general emergency ration. I decided to test a few especially when I seen we got the dreaded pizza meal in the package. The package came with 2x Pizza, 2x Maple sausage, 2x Elbow Mac, 2x Chicken Noodles, 2x Beef in savory sauce, 2x Cheese Tortellini. We tried one of each of them. All of them were about what you would expect from a MRE nothing special but 2 of them stood out as competitors for worst then dog food. The Pizza and Elbow Mac - both were horrible. In a survival situation where I am stuck in the woods with nothing to eat, I would eat it for the energy but wow they were bad. The rest of the MRE were less then desirable 6 out of 6 packages tested had cheese spread. There was no coffee with these which was a disappointing. The side dishes were corn nuts, pop tarts or wheat bread. I know that this is not the sellers fault but the packagers. I wont in the future buy XMRE unfortunately.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend planning a car trip/move with the understanding that he would provide feedback on the experience. He seemed to quite enjoy most of the menus in the box. They were fresh, often surprisingly flavorful, and generally just a pleasant experience to consume as on-the-go meals. XMRE may be more expensive than some of the other "MRE" style shelf stable foods, but from my research and with the experiential results provided by my friend I'd have to believe you get what you pay for in this product segment.

I’ve bought these 3 times in the last few years for camping/hiking trips and I’ve seen the quality steadily improve. This most recent time I had bought these I saw the new heaters, as well as the improved entree variety, and packaging. The variety of the snack items has drastically improved over the last two purchases and the entrees (aside from the vegetarian options) are all very good for a mre. By far the best bulk mre I’ve bought
