This was a direct replacement for our Purple Leaf pergola. Same size, color, and fit. The original lasted a few years before tearing, so we will see how long this one will last. So far, still looks great after 7 months!

This shade delivered great shade in the Florida sun. Easy to install, very easy to open and close. The one thing to watch for is it will pool water within each rib. The weight could probably cause damage, so keep it closed when raining hard, or be prepared to gently guide the water off if it fills. But having said that, the frame seems very sturdy and well made. The fabric cover is of good quality and held up well. I still gave it 5 stars because it was not that big of a deal to trouble shoot for rain gathering, and once you know, it’s easy to take care of.

Best product ever when it comes to pergola and canopies. I’ve had my pergola for three years and no rust, this is the first time I had to replace my canopy. It was easy to replace, the size and fit was perfect, I also love the darker color because it gives you a darker-sun shade (original one was a light beige). Of course this canopy gives you good sun protection and the functionality is perfect. if you want a sitting area in your backyard this is the brand you can trust for pergolas, and canopies.

I have had this totally awesome pergola about 5 years now, and i recently ordered replacement canopy for the first time. Strangely, the replacement canopy has NO DIRECTIONS included for removal of just the canopy to replace it without dismantling the pergola! Im currently reviewing the original directions; however I feel Purple Leaf should include specific REPLACEMENT instructions with options! Ive looked online for video assistance as well, and Purple Leaf does not seem to have this area of need handled very well.

This is a very well made product. Ordered replacement canopy 5 years after being out in the elements the entire time. Customer service was outstanding, they provided the correct product link for ordering directly from the original order placed, tracked and notified in phases of delivery, confirmed receipt and satisfaction of the item.

Excellent product for the price I have see other for more but not as good quality as this simple to put togeather a beats the large umbrella that I replaced it with

Bought this add-on for our Purple Leaf 10x13 retractable pergola, but it can't be installed per the instructions. Either pergola or the curtain is the issue because there are missing pre-drilled holes on the beam needed to install the curtain. The curtain screw is also too long and would go thru the other side of the beam, which again has no hole. Happy to update review if this can be rectified.

After 3 years the original shade cover rapidly disintegrated. This was a perfect fit replacement.
