how do you keep the "stand" under the barrel from collapsing? The rubber bar touches the hot barrel.

I’m not sure what you’re saying I put the stand out and it stands up yes it does touch the rubber on it but it’s never burned or never had trouble with it so I really don’t know sorry about that I know it works great Have a great day I hope this helps that’s all I do with mine
