Good fit for my 30+ year old weedwacker. Same venturi size, easy adjustment.

Search function on Amazon didn't populate this carb as an option when searching for my string trimmer. OEM carb was a Walbro WYK. This does fit the Hitachi or Metabo CG 23ECP(SL) or CG23ECPSL. And works great. Actually better than the OEM carb. See pic with old carb on left and new carb installed on the right... old carb has a rusty or brass cap where the high speed adjustment screw should be. Whereas the Amazon replacement carb has a easy to access adjustment screw. Made it real easy and quick to tune for optimal engine rpm at wide open throttle. I also swapped the top plate for the OEM throttle linkage, bolted right up. Literally a 15 minute job to swap this carb out. Hope this helps someone. Cheers!

This is my second one because of the failure of the performance of the first carburetor the second one is performing better.

This carburetor kit was a perfect fit for my RedMax G24LS stick edger. The kit included everything I needed, and installation was straightforward. After replacing the carburetor and related parts, the edger started easily and ran like new again. The quality of the components was better than I expected for the price. If you're trying to bring an older G24LS back to life, this kit is definitely worth considering.

I prefer rebuilding carburetors when I can. Better to keep the unit OEM as long as possible. These small, two-stroke carbs, though... they have internal passages and diaphragms that are impossible to clean, even with an ultrasonic cleaner. If you put a kit in and still no joy... get this. I popped this little baby in a customer's Shindaiwa T242 trimmer and she fired up like a champ. I had to give the mixture screws the tiniest of adjustments, but compared to some I've gotten from here... This one is Mechanic Recommended

The carburetor does bolt up but it only has 2 lines that go to it, where my trimmer has 3. I has to drill the 3rd hole in the new carburetor to add the place for the 3rd line to get it to run, after doing so, it works great.

Ive owned a Toro TC3110 Pro weed eater since it was new in1991...... Ran like a champ till crummy gas finally got to the carb. Thought I was doomed..... NOBODY has replacement parts for the OEM Walbro carb anymore. Found this aftermarket carb after some persistent internet surfing and gave it a shot. Delivery was fast and perfect,,, better yet, it bolted RIGHT UP perfectly and the throttle assembly was identical! Primed the carb bulb and she fired up on the 2nd pull! Runs perfect.......looking forward to another 28 years! :-)

Bolted on and worked great. No modifications needed.
