We never had miso before, but it's a great soup-starter; we use it all the time now.

Tastes great! 1 tbspn per 250ml of water add some tofu and green onion and you're all set. I wanted to take to work so I put 1tbspn plus some small cubed tofu and green onion into larger ice cube trays. Pop one or two out and I've got a cup of miso when I feel snacky. Better than chips or hitting the Timmies for junk. Had just one cube short to fill 2 ice cube trays :) Goes a long way!
