Excellent emergency radio with torch and reading light.
Bought early to reduce future electricity costs and cope with possible future powecuts. Has a piercing emergency alarm and useful reading light and torch Good online video and long guarantee. Although wind up it takes a long time to recharge that way. Also long time to solar charge but those 2 methods are only emergency add ons. Water resistant. Would be great for camping. Love it.

Great little gadget worth investing in! 😊
The solar panels on this thing are the best quality I've seen ever! I don't even have to move closer to the window, just point it in the general direction and it immediately starts to charge, in fact when I pulled it out of the packaging I noticed there was a light on, I didn't realise it was the indicator light showing it was charging via solar, and boy, is it fast! The only real gripe is that the AAA battery compartment was a bit hard to open the first time and I was worried I was going to break it since the plastic it's made from feels quite flimsy, however I have accidentally dropped it a couple of times since and there's not a single scratch on it so it's clearly far more sturdy than I first anticipated. 🤣 Well worth investing in for that rainy day when you might be in a power out, or out camping, the torch 🔦 has a zoom feature too so that's always a plus I guess 🤣

Great and sturdy but solar panel stops working and support email has no response
I bought this as a backup in the event of power cuts or long trips when you need backups for charging, light or information. Having all three is a great thing, and I noted that there is an emergency function (SOS) as well! Having an AA Battery or Lithium battery choice is useful too. The whole thing works well but there are a couple of caveats which are rather a shame. First the solar panel stopped working after a month. I know this because the charging light does not come on even in direct sunlight. The second is that I reported this issue to the company nearly two weeks ago and I have not had a single response. I was hoping to find another solution than simply asking amazon for a replacement but unless they respond to this review, I will have to do it. Just be aware that at present, their customer service email is not being responded to. At least to me.

Good for my needs
I needed a portable radio that has normal AAA batteries as well as USB. I wasn't interested in the solar, though it could be handy in an emergency. Normally most of us have access to our laptops anyway. The weather radio is only useful for the US not the UK. I thought that would be a good thing actually, trust the UK to be behind. It looks modern and funky and I like that, and it is quite simple. You can adjust the torch setting. It is quite useful to have a good torch for camping and just for out and about as a back up. I hope to use it in the garden, hiking, camping and out having picnics. It is very good value for all the things you get, even the wind up radio too. I like the SOS thing too, it is quite loud. The volume is good and clear. I really like it. It is also light and not too tiny at all. You can easily carry it on your hand. If you can't find the antenna, you just pull it out. I am TReally loving the Reading Light which is under the solar panel, that will be so useful particularly in the cost of living crisis

Great little radio
It's small, a bright colour to see it easily, just the size I need.I tried the radio at home and it worked well. So in a power cut or something more serious, I will be able to listen to it and get news updates about any ongoing crisis.

Portable, lightweight, multi functional emergency use radio.
This wind up radio is a back-up in the event of loss of electricity for any length of time. It provides sufficient light to read by and a handy built in torch with adjustsble beam. I like the fact that it has a chrging system so that mobile phones can be charged. The radio sound quality depends in your location and band chosen but then I was looking for something, portable, small and functional. It has a sevear weather channel which in the uk is not as far as I am aware is broadcast on.

Impressed
I'm really impressed with this radio/power bank. Hoping I'll never need it but I feel safer knowing I have it in case of a powercut.

Lots of Features.
It was charged when I received it. You know how when people get their digital products and toss the manual and just start pressing buttons? Well, you really need to read the manual. It's just a couple of pages. For instance, when charging you need to set the button at the bottom in the right position. The radio plays fine even without the antenna. I found my favorite radio station. Everything works. I tested charging my phone and that worked. I charged it. I notice it can charge my fire tablet. So yay. I bought it mainly for the radio and phone charging during outages. I have other flashlights, but it's good to have an extra one now. I like that it has 4 charging capabilities, solar, hand crank, AAA batteries, and USB charging. It's small and compact. Nice. I took the carabiner off. I don't need that. I'm not going out in the wild. Lol. Oddly enough I found the battery compartment a little difficult to get open for the AAA batteries. I did get it, and now that I have, it's fine. I didn't know if I need to recharge it since it was already charged, and to what amount I don't know. So I charged it through my pc. It says the red light comes on when charging, which it did, and that it turns off when fully charged. It says it takes 4.5 hours to be fully recharged. I had it there for about 6 and it never turned off. So I don't know what that means. I stopped it at 6 hours because I don't want anything to go wrong with it. Anyway, so far so good. The real test is when there will be a huge power outage again. Just made it through Fiona. The power was out for 40 hours where I was. This thing could have come in handy for charging my phone. Instead, I had to tightly limit the use of my cell phone in order to to make it last. And the only usable radio was on my phone which was definitely counter-productive. The SOS is really loud. But I think that is a good feature if you live in an area prone to tornados, earthquakes, and other extreme events. If you're trapped under rubble you can use it to alert search and rescue workers.
