Great mildly sweet, smokey subtle heat
Love this spice. Great quality, good size, and good price. The color is vibrant. I use this in everything from kimchi, cucumbers, taco seasoning to pho and stews. Mild, sweet, smokey type heat. Not overpowering.

Very mild, but they do impart the familiar Kimchi flavor that gets better over time!
I ordered these high quality Gochugaru pepper flakes to make a recipe for Kimchi Cucumbers and they worked out perfectly, although I wish they had just a little more spice. That being said, it just means I have to use more and that is preferable than them being so hot that you can't use the full recipe amount and still eat them. The package is a generous size and the peppers do give that amazing red color and delicious flavor that kimchi-lovers will recognize. I will be able to use these in other recipes, too and it's actually nice to have the spicy seasoning on the light side. It will make my efforts at Asian cuisine easier to sell to my family and friends who are afraid to try things I know they would love.

Authentic red pepper
The best. Fresh, flavorful and tasty. Packaging’s needs improvement. I have found it hard to keep sealed. After transferring product to a better sealable container Im very pleased with this item.
