By the way, to program it by mBlock3, you need to add a extension named" Me color sensor". Thanks.

How high an obstacle can this device traverse?

We have only done 3 to 4 inches, and no problem. you need to be careful where the boom is, if it is too high, it can become unstable.

Is there a Storage box or case (sold separately) for this kit?

Yes, it comes in a nice box and small parts (lots of small parts) have plastic box with dividers.
