Mini split
So far so good. We just installed it this weekend and it's November and 45 degrees here so we haven't gotten to try the AC obviously but the heat is great. Very easy install if you have basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC. You will need a vacuum pump for this brand but it's not difficult. Will update when it gets warmer out.

Low energy consumption
Has been running 4 days since installation. Vacuum down overnight all good set at 74 head unit on the floor temperature 70 works good. Running off solar and no noticeable power drop in batterys

Very Quiet Mini-Split
This is the quietest air conditioner I've ever been around. Virtually no noise from the inside unit, and I could barely hear the outside unit running. And it's ice cold as we hoped.

Great efficiency, issues you need to know
Made by AUX like many others, very easy to install. My only issue is the "Auto" function temperature is fixed at 77° F and can't be changed. There is no energy consumption report as offered on some units. Well made, fully charged with R32, don't worry about an AL2 refrigerant being burnable as all modern refrigerants can burn but will not support a flame. R32 is also the most effective modern refrigerant and is contained in R134, R1234, R454. mixtures. It is important to buy the highest SEER2 unit you can afford. This is a great unit, very quite outside compressor, it is exactly what you need for that hot summer evening and still be able to afford a glass of wine or a beer on the weekend. Hint: Use fresh vacuum pump oil and Nylog. Most electrical inspectors will require a 10 Amp fuse in the AC disconnect as required by code. The current code does not require a GFCI in 2025. Remember to connect the ground from the inside unit to the chassis ground and the power ground from the disconnect to the ground screw next to L1+L2. The manual is not clear on this. This modification is supposed to prevent false fault trips on a GFCI breaker when they are required next year.
