Beautiful!
This is an amazing jacket. The color is absolutely beautiful and the fit is perfect. I am 5'2, 150 lbs. and I ordered a large. Do not hesitate to buy. It has 2 pockets on the inside, you can take the hood off, you can adjust the cuffs, the waistline and even make the hood smaller so it doesn't hang over your face. For the price it is well worth it, it seems to be super warm although I have not worn it outside yet. It is waterproof, warm and it looks absolutely beautiful.

Great quality, fit, and style.
I love this jacket. The fleece lining (nonremovable) is soft and comfortable, and is the perfect weight for a hike on a cool day. I have not worn the jacket in the rain yet, so I can't say how waterproof it is, but the fabric feels as though it would be likely to repel water. I bought the dark gray check pattern, and I love its linen-look finish, which adds a subtle touch of style. I ordered the medium, which is a good fit on me. I'm 5ft 6, 139 lbs, and measure 37, 31, 39. I was concerned when another reviewer said it was tight in the shoulders, but it wasn't tight on me, even though I have fairly broad shoulders. Also, I have quite long arms, but the sleeves were just the right length for me. The sleeves have a Velcro closure, which is a nice feature for cold weather when you want to keep out the cold wind and rain! I could wear a lightweight sweater or fleece underneath it, but if you want to wear a heavy sweater underneath, you might need to go up a size. The jacket came down to about where my bottom ends (maybe half an inch above), which is a flattering length. It won't keep your bottom dry if you're sitting on a wet bench, but it should keep everything but your legs warm and dry while you're walking. One of the features I love is the adjustable snaps at the sides, so you can cinch the jacket in around your waist a little. It only has two snaps, and I'd like to be able to tighten up the waist a little, so I might sew in another so that I can cinch it in a bit more. I also like that the hem and edge of the hood are adjustable, so that also helps to keep you warm and dry. It's nice to have a removable hood, too. If you want to, you can fold it up and put it inside one of the inner pockets. Finally, the zip-up pockets are perfectly angled so that you can put your hands in your pockets to keep warm. There are also two more pockets on the inside. All the pockets are fairly roomy. The only thing I don't like about this jacket is the fact that it went on sale 2 days after I ordered it! I'm now considering returning it to repurchase it at the new price. (It was $55 when I bought it, but now it's $44). I wish Amazon did price adjustments. Actually, it's good value even at $55, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to save a little money if I can! Anyway, I highly recommend this jacket!

Lovely Jacket!
I originally ordered an extra large, as I read a number of reviews that said to upsize. The extra large was way too large. I had ordered it in the Olive Green. It was more grayish green. I returned it and lo & behold it went on sale a few days later. Yay! I ordered the purple in just a large. The fit is just right, sleeves long enough, the body length sits just below my lower hip. Plus, there's still enough room to wear a light sweatshirt. I love the fact that you can remove the hood and have a nice stand up collar. It's great in the wind and has a good weight. I don't really care for those side straps and they sit way above my natural waist line. I haven't been out in the rain yet, so I'm unable to speak of the waterproofing ability. I do really like this item and highly recommend it. Stay with your usual size!

Great for Scotland!
So happy with the fit! I purchased the medium. See photos. I am 5โ2.5โ tall, 134 lbs. and 39/34/40 build with a bit of added muffin top. Being petite, it is so hard to find a coat where sleeves arenโt dangling! The sleeves are only slightly long for me, but the Velcro wrist closures keep the sleeves at a proper length without bunching up. It is not a boxy coat. The coat hits right at base of the buttocks and is comfortable sitting in car or walking. This is SO flattering on. I love the plum color. The coat does have a soft, lightweight, attached liner. I find it most comfortable with a thin turtleneck and pullover sweater for temps in the low to mid 50s F for me. Disclaimer, I have neuropathy, so my limbs (well all of me) are always cold. โNormal peopleโ will likely find this coat plenty warm otherwise. It has been fully water and wind proof in the cold, hard pelting rain of Scotland. I have worn it in temps of 47-65 degrees with varying layers underneath. Lots of pocket space inside and out. Love the zippered outer pockets. The hood has a Velcro tab to adjust the hood. Being petite, this is a great feature I didnโt first notice when the hood was in my eyes and Easy to adjust while wearing. Paired with waterproof snowboarding pants. Worked like a dream. Love this coat and want more colors to choose from!

I love, love, LOVE this coat!
The quality for the price is amazing! It has all the bells and whistles important to me...high collar and wrist adjustment (critical for keeping me warm due to circulation issues), an excellent quality zipper that operates easily and effortlessly, adjustable waist allowing for more or less clothing underneath. It's built for fall warmth, but can instantly work in much colder weather by adding a sweater or thermal shirt or gloves. I have found that the waterproof feature also makes it easy to clean off any dirt as it shows up. The soft, smooth fabric gives it a polished look. I love my coat!

Kept me warm and dry
I ordered this for an Alaska cruise and it was perfect. I ordered my usual size and it was roomy enough for layers underneath. It kept me warm and dry without feeling bulky which is exactly what I wanted. I think it will work well for walking the dog this fall.

Awesome!
Love this jacket! So glad I picked this to wear during our travels in Iceland. Through wind, rain, temps changing from 50's to 30's this was perfect in every way. Stylish with the waist adjusting belt, good length, not bulky, has an inside pocket which I used all the time to store my phone and took in and out often for pics. The attached hat, which can be removed, was definitely helpful against the cool, wet and windy conditions. I am broad shouldered, 36-38" chest and fairly big upper arms, but was able to wear a fleece and thermal shirt underneath and was totally comfortable and able to be active with no constrictions in the medium size. Definitely recommend!

Size
The coat is well made, versatile. The fabric feels and looks fine. The hood and attachment is great with hood on or off. I gave a three because of size. I returned the first order according to the size chart because it was too snug. The size recommended is a bit extra roomy in all aspects. Overall it is too nice to send back so I am keeping it, wearing it with the sleeves rolled up and the waist cinched in. Really appreciate the interior pockets.
