For $15.99 + tax, this is a very nice watch. I was attracted to the look, the glow feature of the luminous dial and the day/date feature. I gambled, so far I have won. The supplied chain is the belt hook type which I do not like, so I ordered another with a double claw foot to use with this watch instead. Nothing wrong with the chain provided, it just does not function in my preferred manner. It was simple to set. While there are no instructions in the box, the Amazon page explains it clearly and accurately. After I removed the tiny white plastic ring from around the stem, the watch started working - nice battery saving feature until we get it. There are three protective plastic sheets to remove, (1) over the crystal, and (1) each side of the case. I thought this was a thoughtful touch for transport. I have no idea how long it will last, but I am enjoying it for time I have it. Happy camper.

Best poket watch I have ever owned keeps perfect time, only problem is the christel cracked and I don't know why .

I gave up setting day of week. And it is fussy about when you program the date. I considered sending it back but after all it is a cheap watch, so what to expect.
