I recently purchased the ACMER S2 12W Laser Engraver, and I’m really excited about this machine. I haven’t had a lot of time to fully test everything yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks like a solid and well-built engraver. The overall quality and construction feel durable, and it has a nice, professional design that makes it look more expensive than it actually is. Setting it up was pretty straightforward — the instructions were clear, and all the parts were well-labeled. Within a short time, I was able to get it running and do a few test engravings on wood and acrylic. The laser performance is strong and consistent, and the precision seems very good for a machine in this price range. Even at higher speeds, the cuts look clean and detailed. I really like that it offers a large engraving area (300x300mm) and supports multiple materials like metal, leather, and acrylic. That makes it perfect for DIY projects, crafts, or even small business applications. The machine runs smoothly, and the cooling fan keeps it from overheating during longer sessions. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase so far. I haven’t explored all the features yet, but the ACMER S2 12W laser engraver feels reliable and well-made. I’m looking forward to spending more time experimenting with different materials and designs. Definitely seems like a great choice for beginners or anyone interested in laser engraving and cutting projects!

So this little laser engraver/cutter is pretty powerful! I accidently selected cutting the first time and burned through the wood and a little bit of the counter top. The setup was not too difficult, you just need to follow the instructions which is included. The software was pretty easy to setup on the computer and it connects pretty easily. The hard part was finding a vector file for what I wanted engraved, but I was able to upload a regular jpg and have the software convert it to want I wanted. You can see the laser engraver is pretty fast! And you'll definitely want to wear the included glasses to protect your eyes! The machine when turned on is pretty loud. The price is pretty reasonable compared to the ones that cost in the thousands. It's versatile and can't wait to see what fun I can have engraving the kids stuff! It's functional and fun! Will post more updates once I get the hang of it.

I gave this laser, the ACMER 7W laser, to my husband for Christmas. He loved it so much that he purchased the ACMER 33W laser from ACMER. The 7W is great, but the 33W has some issues. It won't run without the belt popping off of the bobbin that holds it, which means that the 33W is unusable. He has purchased a new belt, the old one doesn't look straight to me, but it hasn't come yet. He opened a ticket with ACMER a week ago and is not getting any response at all from the company. The 33W was not purchased from Amazon, but if anyone is in the mood to upgrade from the 7W sold here to the 33W from ACMER, don't. It's not worth your money as it becomes a paperweight within a couple of weeks of purchasing. I would not recommend the 33W.

You need to take some youtube classes to use it... but after that.. is super good laser... for people that just want something to play with.

If you buy this for cup engraving etc make sure to order leg extenders also they do not come with the machine!!!! Only giving it three stars for now as I haven’t even been able to try it out yet, in order to use the rotary tool you have to buy the leg extensors with it which aren’t on Amazon not to mention the only computer program you get is the one for laser engraving! It doesn’t give what other programs you would need to use to create your own designs, now I know that sounds funny but I’d like to have suggestions on programs that work best not sitting doing hours of research watching video after video!!

The ACMER S2 Laser Engraver exceeded my expectations! It was easy to set up, and the instructions were really clear. All necessary tools were also provided. Ich wollte schon länger mal in das Thema Laser-Gravur reinschnuppern, war aber immer unsicher, ob das Ganze nicht zu kompliziert für mich ist. Der Acmer S2 ist nun mein erster eigener Laser, und ich muss sagen: Die Sorgen waren unbegründet. Aufbau und Handling: Was mich als Anfänger am meisten begeistert hat, ist die einfache Handhabung. Der Aufbau war unkompliziert und man findet sich extrem schnell zurecht. Wer keine Lust auf stundenlanges Studieren von komplizierten Anleitungen hat, ist hier genau richtig. Die Verbindung zum PC klappt reibungslos und man kann eigentlich direkt mit den ersten Versuchen loslegen. Gravur-Qualität: Für das, was ich vorhabe – nämlich kleine Gravuren wie Namen, Logos oder sogar Fotos auf Holz und Leder – ist das Gerät absolut top. Die Präzision von 0,01 mm merkt man wirklich; die Linien sind scharf und selbst feine Details bei Fotos kommen überraschend gut raus. Für Personalisierungen von Geschenken oder kleinen Deko-Artikeln ist die Leistung von 4W vollkommen ausreichend. Wo sind die Grenzen? Man muss sich aber vor dem Kauf klar machen, wofür man den Laser nutzen möchte. Die 4W sind super für Oberflächen, aber wenn man plant, dickeres Holz oder Acryl wirklich zu schneiden, dann stößt der Acmer S2 an seine Grenzen. Er ist eben ein Spezialist für feine Gravuren und kein industrieller Cutter. Wer also vorhat, ganze Werkstücke aus dickem Material auszuschneiden, sollte definitiv tiefer in die Tasche greifen und sich direkt das Modell mit mehr Watt Ausgangsleistung holen. Fazit: Als Einsteiger-Gerät bekommt der Acmer S2 von mir eine klare Empfehlung. Er ist preiswert, leicht zu bedienen und liefert bei Gravuren erstklassige Ergebnisse. Es ist der perfekte "Türöffner" für dieses Hobby. Man sollte nur ehrlich zu sich selbst sein, ob man nur verschönern oder auch massiv schneiden will – für Ersteres ist er perfekt!

Als jemand, der neu in der Welt der Lasergravur ist, war ich wirklich gespannt auf die Graviermaschine. Der Aufbau war super einfach, und ich konnte direkt loslegen, ohne mich durch komplizierte Anleitungen quälen zu müssen. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, und der Arbeitsbereich von 300x300mm ist für meine ersten Projekte völlig ausreichend. Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat, ist die Qualität der Gravuren. Die Ergebnisse sind sauber, scharf und detailreich – besonders bei Fotos! Die Leistung des Lasers ist zuverlässig und gleichmäßig, sodass ich immer wieder gleiche Ergebnisse erziele. Auch die Bedienung ist kinderleicht, und die Verbindung zum Gerät klappt problemlos. Allerdings sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass es sich um ein Einsteigermodell handelt. Für Anwender mit höheren Ansprüchen oder dem Bedarf an noch feineren Details könnte die Leistung des 4W Lasers auf Dauer nicht ausreichen. Hier wäre eventuell ein Upgrade auf ein leistungsstärkeres Modell in Betracht zu ziehen. Dennoch bietet der Acmer Laser für den Preis ein überzeugendes Gesamtpaket und ist ideal für alle, die in die Welt der Lasergravur eintauchen möchten.

Excellente machine pour graver, elle est très facile à prendre en main. Elle arrive en "kit" (très minutieusement rangé et organisé dans le carton) et elle s’assemble très simplement. Fournie avec des morceaux de bois pour les premiers essais. Très heureuse du résultat de ma première gravure avec, je vais pouvoir personnaliser notre matériel à la maison !

I had a 100 x 100 mm S1 and wanted something larger so I bought this. Set up was very easy. Works well with lightburn. I have only rated it 4 stars because I haven’t run it though it’s paces and I believe that a product has to earn its stars not lose its stars. I have only used it so far on bamboo and slate. I have to check other types of materials and may upgrade my rating.
