If you want a different chewing gum than this can be tried but I wanted a natural pure resin . This is so expensive for a chewing gum. I needed a pure resin not a chemical product. Shame on this company who advertise this as a natural and pure. It is not. A resin cannot be so flexible to be able to make bubbles! This is a pure chemical chewing gum! So disappointing that it is almost impossible to trust the description of the product. I would give zero stars if I could.

Some people say they chew right away, but don’t do that. This isn’t your typically Orbit gum. BEFORE YOU OPEN: 1. Place 1 piece in your mouth and warm it up for about 30 seconds 2. Start chewing very slowly 3. Enjoy! Consistency is great. Gum sizes are PERFECT. Pine flavor is awesome.

This should not be allowed to be sold for human consumption! Maybe I also got a bad batch but when I start to chew it it immediately turns into a glue like substance getting in between every tooth and making it impossible to remove from your mouth. The only thing that worked for me was chewing traditional gum to get the consistency to change enough that I could remove it from my mouth. Even then, it ended up all over my hands and face and took a lot of dish soap and scrubbing to remove. Smells and tastes a little bit like pine. I think I would like it if it actually held up as gum and didn't immediately turn into essentially pine sap.

I am the type of person that if there is a natural, chemical-free version of a product.. I am going to opt for that instead of the latter. This mastic gum is exactly what I was looking for. A natural, chemical-free chewing gum that comes straight from a tree and does not enter any sort of factory processing. The flavor is nice, a subtle woody flavor that I enjoy. I really like how firm the texture is, definitely a workout for my jaw muscles. Overall, I am completely happy with the product and I am happy with the price as well. 5-stars!

After learning recently sugar alcohols uses in sugar free gum increase the chances of blood clotting I decided to look for alternatives and game across this. Formerly I was a pack of gum per day chewer. 1-2 pieces of Mastiha can last me all day. The gum has a slight taste of pine, which being an Oregon boy I don't mind. It is a little firmer than traditional gum which I like. Note, you do have to warm it up in your mouth for about 30 seconds before you can chew it, otherwise is shatters into tiny pieces. Overall I highly recommend this if your looking for an alternative to sugar free gum and love the sensation of chewing.
