I have a large 21.6 lb orange cat. Would this fit him?

It is probably too small for a cat that size. Our 6 pound kitten fits comfortably on it, but will probably outgrow it by the time he's a year old. It is plenty sturdy, and our kitten loves it, but it probably won't be comfortable for a cat that size to do more than sit on top of it.

How many feet tall is the cat tree top to bottom?

27 inches tall, so 2 feet 3 inches. My kitty is small and @10 lbs so it works well for her. However, if you have a really large chubby kitty, you may want one with a larger footprint. The inside of the upper shelf is 11x14 inches. Our kitty loves to hide in the box underneath when there’s a storm and she’s alone. It’s her happy, safe place.
