Muy buen producto, facil de instalar, solo conectas a la corriente y al modem y el otro en la misma red electrica y obtienes casi el 100% de la velocidad, tengo contratado 80MB/s y recibi 79-75MB/s desde planta baja a planta alta cuando se conecta directamente al contacto, probe conectandolo en un regulador de voltaje donde tengo conectada la PC y pierde mucha seรฑal, por lo que recomiendo sea directo en los contactos.

Finally, a stable network connection.
My wifi has been getting less and less consistent over the years as there were more devices in the house, and the last straw was when the wifi adapter I was using started needing semi-frequent power cycling to keep working at all.I thought I'd give Ethernet over power a shot, and I'm glad I did. I went from pings regularly hitting as high as 50ms across the local network to a perfectly stable 1-3ms at all times. Pages load faster and online games are much more consistent.It took a little testing to find a power outlet that worked (these only work on the same circuit), but once I did it automatically paired up with the upstairs unit just fine. There's no further setup; it functions the same as a normal Ethernet cable once both sides are connected.I fired up iperf, and tested speeds. In my configuration, I was getting 85mbps in one direction and that split into 40mbps when running a bidirectional test, meaning it is not full duplex. This is nowhere close to gigabit, but it's about what my wifi card was getting anyway and it's also sufficient for my internet speed, so I'm pretty happy with it. I did have em hooked up through a power strip though, and my house's wiring is probably crappy so I think a more optimal setup would get better results.Overall, it is cheaper and far more performant to simply buy a 100 foot ethernet cable and run it wherever you need it, but if you can't do that this is an OK alternative.

Using it in an apartment. I personally had bad experiences in the past as to using Powerline adapters to connect to the internet, using AV500 form factor manufactured by TP-LINK about 4 or 5 years ago before I moved to my current home, disconnected randomly at least once or twice a day, had to re-pair the adapters everytime it disconnected, unstable latency and all.So I had some sceptics in my mind to try this product out but ended up doing so as other alternative options would not work in my setups. I was pleasantly surprised because the product gives a very stable performance with reasonable connection speed and latency, that I do not need to look further to connect my rig.The actual item is, well, slightly bulky on the outlet, which is a little annoying but it's ok. The cables that came with the product is rather short and bad quality as one of the cable is already sort of loose and does not connect very well but it's always easy to find another lan cable to connect anyway.Overall Very gud item
