I purchased the LOOGU Men’s Rain Suit (jacket with hood + pants) for outdoor work and weekend activities, and after several solid rainstorms and wet days I’m very satisfied with how well this affordable set performs. Build quality and materials The suit is made from lightweight polyester with a PU coating and fully taped seams. The fabric feels durable yet soft and quiet—far better than stiff, noisy cheap vinyl rain gear. Seams are sealed properly, the zipper is smooth with a storm flap, and overall construction holds up well for the price. It has stayed intact through multiple uses and folds without cracking or tearing. Fit and adjustability Sizing runs a bit generous (as noted by the manufacturer), so check the size chart carefully. Once on, the fit is comfortable and roomy enough to layer over regular clothes. Adjustable features work well: elastic and drawcord cuffs on the jacket, adjustable waist and leg openings on the pants, and a fully adjustable hood that cinches tight without restricting vision. The pants can be tucked into boots for extra protection. Two large side pockets on the jacket provide easy access for small items. Waterproof performance and breathability This is the strongest point. In moderate to heavy rain the suit kept me completely dry. Water beads up and rolls off the fabric instead of soaking in. The taped seams prevent leaks at the critical points. While it’s not a high-end GORE-TEX level breathable membrane, the lightweight material vents reasonably well during light activity and doesn’t trap heat as badly as heavier PVC suits. I stayed comfortable for several hours without overheating. Portability and practicality At roughly 14 oz (0.4 kg) for the full set, this is one of the lightest complete rain suits I’ve used. It packs down small into the included storage bag and easily disappears into a backpack, truck, or tool bag. Ideal for keeping in the vehicle as emergency rain gear or packing for hunting, fishing, hiking, cycling, or outdoor work. Breathability is good for the category but not equal to premium technical rainwear during high-output activity. These are expected limitations at this price point and don’t affect its solid everyday performance. Overall, the LOOGU Men’s Rain Suit delivers reliable waterproof protection, low weight, and real usability without the bulk or cost of more expensive brands. It’s become my go-to packable rain gear for work and outdoor adventures. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone needing a lightweight, effective 2-piece rain suit. Five stars.

Keeps me dry

Nice lightweight suit. Pretty thin material so dont know how well it will hold up to snags in the woods. It is breathable. The only drawback I've noticed so far is that the inside of the jacket is SNOW WHITE. So needless to say ,you dont want it open if you're deer or duck hunting. And the hood is not detachable and is also snow white on the inside. So. Will it shed the rain ? Yes. Is it suitable for hunting ? That's up to the individual I guess.
