Great experience, kids loved it!
Though delivery took around 2+ weeks, the rest of the experience was good. I received 6 caterpillars; 5 of them survived, so it's good that they sent an extra one. I had some concerns and questions, and the vendor's support helped with all the answers and provided assistance - great vendor, definitely can recommend! The kids enjoyed watching them form cocoons and live in the mesh house, and eventually released them all.

Good product, but beware the commitment
A good kit for a fair price. NOTE TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: If you have never raised butterflies before, beware. It is a time-consuming process that requires absolute vigilance. If you make even ONE mistake, your butterflies will NOT be able to fly. A grounded butterfly is a dead butterfly. Even if you keep it in the enclosure (and feed it), it will die in less than 2 weeks. If you force a flightless butterfly out of the enclosure, it will get eaten immediately. This is a hobby for the dedicated only. Long live beauty.

Great learning opportunity!
All 5 came alive and healthy! They are growing so big! The kids are loving watching them grow and learn about their life cycle. You will need to purchase a net for them for when they start to transform!

Good experience for our granddaughter!
Our 4 year old granddaughter enjoys watching them develop into butterflies. It's a wonderful learning experience for her.
