Great fit and helps cooling a 550 motor
Perfect fit for my son's Mercedes 450 ride on. It helps cool the motor (550 size). I attached two of them using a tie wrap.

Fit is perfict for 1/10 550 motor
Easy install and looks awesome. Needed for those hot summer days. Price is great for a four pack. I lost a stock heatsink just from roll over, so now I have extras that fit better than the stock one that I lost.

does a good job cooling but falls off
i definitely notice a longer run time when running multiple batteries before heat cutoff. when driving conservative it stays on fine, but if i take it out to a park with proper jumps it does fall off a few times in a day. could probably toss a zip tie on it to keep it secure.

Doesnt directly fit onto vxl traxxas motors. Stampede
Nice quality, but i couldnt get it to fit on stampede vxl 2wd motor. I tear my trucks down alot so i know what it should be like. Theres just not enough width to put it in. So i cut 1/8th of a inch off and made it fit. Nice fit after that but if your not handy then find another one thats direct fit

Cool and cheap.
Fits ok, just press on. Want to drill a few holes, so it can fit my ta02 tamiya chassis a little better but the tamiya tt02 has no problem fitting it.

They easily fit my 4 x 4 slash trucks with no gaps Cut lengthwise they will fit my 2 Wheel Drive Slash

The same principle still works for Harley engines.
Excessive heat is a major enemy to any engine or electric motor. Some RC manufacturers charge as much as $45 for an alloy motor mount upgrade that serves as a motor cooling heat sink as well as fuel for your braggadocio. For about the price of a bacon-cheeseburger and soft drink, these finned heat-sinks snap on to 540 - 550 RC motors and do the same(if not better) job dissipating potentially damaging excess heat. And being able to protect 4 individual motors at such savings you can also brag about your keen sense of thrift as well as prophylactic wisdom.
