Upgrade from the original remote!
We bought a house that had the split AC system with Daikin units. The remote controls were old and dirty, so we wanted to replace them with new ones. I ordered these and they work GREAT! No programming needed! I originally only bought one to make sure it would work, but as of now, we've replaced ALL of the remotes with these remotes. And like I said in my headline, this is a total upgrade from the original remote.

It is an adequate replacement remote
took me all of 90 seconds to figure out the foreign language. Works splendidly... you'll figure out the language barrier if you're just a little patient.

Great value!
We moved into a home where the previous owners took the remote. It was impossible to climb a ladder to turn on and off. After trying several HVAC services in Phoenix someone suggested looking at Amazon. I wasted more in gas than the actual cost of this remote. First hard to understand the function since it’s not in English but there is a translation at the bottom of the remote. Working great now and no more ladders!
