Girls Medieval Tudor Princess - Kids Fancy Dress Costume

This does fit relatively well, althought fairly tight when pulling it on round the waist bit (there is elastic round there) but we probably should have brought above the age group of 13 - but there no bigger size than 13+ Also the gold material on the sleeve and on the lining down the dress, plus the elastic waist is not too good quality, and will break/tear easily (especially on the sleeve bit, as I did). But overall it works well, as expected. Would recommend, although I would look out that some of the material on the dress is not the best quality, and that you get the right age group + maybe above the size of the age group, since it was quite tight around the waist.

My daughter needed a medieval costume for her school play and this fit the bill, it was one of the few dresses available for older girls. The dress is long and is made of thin material. The one we received had parts of the green "velvet" style fabric missing from under the arm and was a black mesh-type fabric that you could see through, but it was only in a small area and we needed the costume quickly so we didn't bother to return it. The headband would not stand up on my daughter's head and kept falling over, also one end of the headband fabric had a hole in it so the plastic headband poked through. We took the plastic headband out and replaced it with one of my daughter's own, it stood up much better on her head then and she was able to wear it normally. The dress was worn for 4 performances of the play and it's already starting to show signs of wear and has a hole in it. If you need this type of costume for an older girl there isn't much choice out there and this does work, but don't expect it to last too long!

Bought for a Tudor assembly. Looked good. Survived the assembly and will be used again. 8 to 10 slightly long for this 9 year old,, but we managed. Good price.

Costume was good fit for fairly small 13/14 year old. Nice material and lovely colour. Good quality for the reasonable price.

My daughter wore this for world book day. Such good quality! It was a lovely fit and the material was comfortable. The length was just right. Good value for money.

Better quality than most fancy dress sets. Has lasted well with lots of wear. Kept my daughter warm on a wintery party night.
