Dimensions Gold: Count Cross Stitch: Jewels of the Orient

Great chart, threads all sorted on card, after readind other dimension reviews about thread expecting the it to run out, other than that pleased with purchase

it is what it says and when i have finished it i'm sure it will look brilliant. Only fault is with tracking. I was given a tracking number and checked every day to see which day it was going to arrive as i was going away. Everyday it said it could not find the tracking number. When i arrived home from my break there it was on the mat. Not impressed with DHL or Amazon or whoever was to blame!

This is a beautiful design and, as with all Dimensions Gold Collection, is well presented. I haven't started to stitch it yet, but I have read the instructions and they are easy very to understand. The kit arrived well ahead of the scheduled date and I am very pleased with this purchase.

The pattern is beautiful, but I have found the materials to be lower quality than other Dimensions kits I've bought in recent years. The thread frays very badly, especially when using 3 threads per cross stitch as you need for some blended colours. I end up having to cut off a lot of frayed ends, and I've been using half-length threads to reduce the damage to the thread, but it's a pity that the threads are much lower quality than in other Dimensions kits. The needles are also poor -- two are supplied, both clearly intended to be identical tapestry needles, but one was too sharp and the other bent slightly almost immediately after I started using it, and then broke in two very early on in the stitching, so I had to buy a batch of my own needles. The material is indeed very stiff as others have commented, but I don't mind that (though it does make it a bit harder to manage in qsnap).

My dream came true. The kit of very good quality. It remains to create this picture in crosses. :-)

This kit has just arrived, it is brilliant, can't wait to start! All the dimensions kits i have had are beautiful and look fantastic when finished and framed

I am working on The Mighty Samurai from The Gold Collection and expect Jewels of the Orient to be in the same excellent class regarding instruction and material.

How I wish I wasn't so busy. This looks awesome and I can't wait to open the pack and get cracking.

Très beau avec beaucoup de détails. Beaucoup de boulot en perspective pour le terminer mais le résultat en vaut le coup.

wie bereits von anderen Dimensions Stickpackungen gewohnt ist auch dieses Stickbild von hervorragender Qualität. Dies Betrifft sowohl die mitgelieferten Garne (Farbqualität und auch Menge) als auch den Stoff. Die Anleitung ist gut verständlich, alle zu verwendenden Sticharten sind auch für Anfänger gut erklärt und in Bildern dargestellt. wie bei allen Stickmustern üblich ist auch hier natürlich Geduld bis zur Fertigstellung erforderlich. Alles was man zum Sticken benötigt ist in der Packung enthalten.
