Men's 42mm Hull Chronograph Watch with Leather Strap SP-5068

Lovely looking high quality watch bought with an extra 20% off the Pine Green version (actually very dark almost black & faded at centre) so a real bargain! Spinnaker are the only watches I've received from Amazon with protective films still intact both on the crystal & caseback & watch head also seal wrapped in cellophane which is how all new watches should be supplied (take note Amazon) So it's nice to get a factory fresh watch rather than a customer return for a change! For the £116 paid this really is a lovely watch. I don't normally do chronographs as I don't use the extra functions but I loved the look so much & am not disappointed! I love rough textured dials & retro designs so this suits me perfectly. The chrono second hand aligns perfectly as do the small subdial hands. The case is perfectly sized at 42mm & the 15mm thickness isn't at all cumbersome on the wrist, because this measurement is partly due to the domed crystal. The gradient subtly faded dial is a nice touch. Some have complained that the chrono second hand sits over the date display, I've simply run it & stopped it at the six position! The double digit date display at 12 is a really nice retro touch too! Comes on a decent quality waterproof leather strap too. This may well become a daily wearer favourite!

I really like Spinnaker watches and this is no exception. Mecha-quartz movement gives a smooth tick chronograph seconds hand which I like. Nice big date display and really good looks. I get lots of comments and questions when I wear any of these Hull watches.

Quite a nice watch, out of the norm design dial ( I liked fumee black and pine green and went for pine green.) I’d say it looks good - casual - quasi sports watch for everyday use. So far so good, I wish they made it in a decent automatic in the same range and design with smaller dial ( 40 than 42) and lighter in weight ( would be a masterpiece). Yes! I know of Croft , which doesn’t cut it for me with those repulsive minute hand would spoil any Automatik movement of second hand) All in All , Hull is a different looking quartz chrono with decent value for money, but could have been better with dial size and weight.

This is a really lovely watch, it looks and feels far more expensive than it is. The chronograph is lots of fun and you’ll find yourself timing everything you do. The only thing I don’t like is that the 24hr sub dial is linked to the hour hand on the main dial so works as an AM/PM indicator only - which is relatively useless - and not as a GMT sub dial which would be really useful. That’s a fault of the Seiko Mecaquartz movement and not Spinnaker.

Lightweight, poor quality.

I am delighted with the watch, it looks great and compares well with much more expensive watches. it is accurate. I have a small wrist and it is chunky without looking too big. I suspect the strap would be too short for someone with large wrists

Felt extremely cheap

Bardzo ładny zegarek. Dosyć duży,bo 42 mm. Bardzo fajnie pasuje do ręki. Jedyny minus to wskazówka sekundnika - duża wskazówka jest wskazówką stopera i stoi na dacie lub jak kto woli na godz.12:00 . Sekundnik natomiast jest mały. Polecam.

...great for any collection. Soft very comfortable leather strap, not sure who complains about having a leather strap on a dive watch...let's face it the only diving most of do is desk diving..

Zuerst einmal ein Wort zum Händler : Ich habe die Uhr am Freitag bestellt und am nächsten Tag um 13:00 erhalten. Unfassbar! Die Uhr ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Besonders positiv für mich, ist die Größe des Gehäuses. Für mein relativ schmales Handgelenk sieht jeder Multifunktionschronograph mit 50 mm Durchmesser übertrieben groß aus. Auf den beigefügten Fotos kann man ganz gut erkennen, dass viele Kleinigkeiten wirklich mit viel Mühe ausgeführt wurden. Zum Beispiel ist die Lünettenbeschriftung nicht nur aufgedruckt, sondern eingraviert und geschwärzt. Das Zifferblatt sieht mit seiner rauhen Oberfläche auch wirklich gut aus. Der Sekundenzeiger steht in der Nullstellung haargenau auf der 12! Da hatte ich schon teurere Uhren mit schlechteren Einstellungen. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die sehr schön gemachte Datumsanzeige. Über die Ganggenauigkeit kann ich natürlich noch nichts genaues sagen. Bis jetzt aber ist alles OK und das Seiko Werk ist ja ein Top Quartz Werk. Zum Schluss noch eine Kleinigkeit aber für mich erwähnenswert : Das Armband ist qualitativ erstaunlich und weich! Es riecht wie ein neuer Lederschuh...

Alors voila, je vais être le plus objectif possible. Pour le positif : en vrai la montre est vraiment jolie, elle a un look terrible. Sa qualité de construction est irréprochable, elle respire la qualité. Les finitions sont belles c'est vraiment une superbe montre. Sur le papier il est indiqué qu'elle est assez épaisse, en réalité elle parait beaucoup moins, son épaisseur correspond très bien à sa taille et à son look, donc pas d'impression d'épaisseur excessive. Pour le négatif : le bracelet a une matière étrange et peu agréable, je le trouve trop rigide de plus sa couleur tire vraiment vers le jaune alors qu'en marron ça serait beaucoup plus joli. Mais rien ne vous empêche de le changer pour pas cher, il y a tellement de choix sur Amazon. J'ai renvoyé cette montre pour une simple raison, c'est juste du fait que le "vintage", sur moi, ça ne me va pas, ça ne correspond pas à mon identité. En espérant vous avoir éclairé.
