Alpecin C1 Caffeine Hair Care Set Shampoo and Liquid

I've used it for a week so far and i like it. Smells great - seems to clean very well. Make sure to follow the shampoo directions and leave it on for the full 2 mins. As for the scalp tonic - i read on here that some people complain about " Can't control pour-level of After Shampoo Liquid" - One simple old school trick helps with this - you put your index finger over the hole - then after you invert it on the spot you want to put it - release your index finger slightly. this is how you control the amount you want to release onto that area of your scalp. As for the Shampoo - a little goes a long way. I have short hair -so a dime size amount is all I need as even that small amount produces lots of suds and can get on my entire scalp.

Needed shampoo and kept seeing the advertisements and decided to try this product. After using it for a week now I love these products. No results yet but the body and texture it gives my hair is great! Will definitely purchase again.

I just received my Alpecing hair growth shampoo and tonic in the mail today. It smells great especially the tonic, it smells like German aftershave. I have not used either product yet and will update soon. The tonic does contain Linalool which does make hair grow, however, it also contains denat alcohol which is known to cause dry skin and irritate the skin as well. The tonic also contains vitamin A, E, a form of B3, other ingredients, and fragrances.

I have occasionally used Alpecin products over the past years, and they worked well for me. This Caffeine Shampoo C1 in particular was exceptionally good for the price. After a couple of times using the shampoo, I clearly saw the improvements right away. My hair looks healthier, thicker, and stronger and it is being styled nicely after each use. I tried the after shampoo liquid too which gives my scalp a very refreshing and cool feeling after each application. I would certainly continue using and buying these. Compared to several fancy and pricey shampoos out there which I have tried and did not really do anything, I believe this product is a very good deal, price-and-quality wise. I rarely take the time and effort to write a review for my Amazon shoppings, but I did it for this product because it deserves it. Thanks Dr. Wolff.

I was really excited to receive the Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo and After Shampoo Liquid combo to help combat my hair loss. My first impressions: it had a nice masculine smell and provided a tingling sensation that felt as if it was really working to preserve and enhance my hair and scalp. However, after a week's worth of use, I noticed my hair falling out in greater quantities along with an increase in scalp irritation, itch and dandruff. I know I am to use the product longer to receive maximum benefits, but I did not want to risk any more damage to my hair/scalp, so I stopped its use prematurely. I do not believe any product should cause this much harm before making things better. The idea of this shampoo/topical combo is great and I really really like the smell, however the parabens in the shampoo along with the alcohol in the liquid really damaged my hair follicles and dried out my scalp. I hope others had better luck, but these items are not for me.

Been wanting to try this for an awhile. Only 4 stars because I’ve just started using it, but, it smells great, lathers well and the after shampoo liquid definitely feels like it’s doing something. I really stimulates the scalp! Let’s see if in 6 months if things start improving up top lol.
