This Midea 5,000 BTU window unit has been a fantastic purchase for my small bedroom. It was incredibly easy to install—I had it up and running in about 15 minutes with just a screwdriver. The instructions were clear, and all the parts I needed were in the box.The cooling power is impressive for such a compact unit. It quickly drops the temperature in my room (about 150 sq. ft.) and keeps it comfortable even on the hottest days. It's a bit noisy, but honestly, that's what you'd expect from a budget-friendly window AC, and I find the consistent hum to be good white noise for sleeping.The controls are simple and straightforward, and I love that it has a "constant fan" option—a feature not all units in this price range have. It helps keep the air circulating and the room from feeling stuffy. Overall, if you need an affordable, easy-to-install AC for a small space, this one is a solid choice.

It's Midea, what can I say,have them in 3 rooms,replaced each one after 4 years, installed myself, keeps 3 small bedrooms cool,low noise,works great

I love the Midea MAW05R1BWT-A 5000 BTU air conditioner. I bought it for my bedroom, and it cools the room quickly and easily. I've been using it for over a month now, and it's performed great.I've seen some reviews saying the unit is too loud, but I personally don't find the noise level to be an issue at all. I also really like the remote control and the straightforward, easy installation.The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the stupid symbols used on the control panel. It would be much better if they used clear words instead of these symbols, and the font for the words that are printed could also be improved to be more readable. Other than these small issues, I love this AC unit, it works great so far, and I would definitely recommend it.

Don’t waste your Money, economy on/ off every 5 minutes and smells like something is burning. Cools on auto but definitely has a burning smell at times! I am not happy and bought 2, and should have sent them both back! But couldn’t afford to go without nothing with health and budget to pay someone to take out and replace for 4Th time!!

Definitely worth every penny! Purchased to put in the window of a fifth wheel camper on the backside of the property. The ac that is in the main living area quit blowing cold, and the bedroom unit couldn’t keep up with the East Tennessee heat. This unit was small enough to fit in a window on a slide out and totally compensates for the one that quit. Super easy to install and the noise level is about the same of any other window unit I’ve ever heard running. Definitely recommend as far as the price is concerned!
