Q: How do you recharge it when the filter is used up? What is the cost to do it?

To recharge it, just empty the resin out of the filter and replace it with fresh resin. The cost is $40-45 per replacement of resin.

Q: I would like to know from someone who has owned this for sometime now how long the filter system really lasts? If you would recommended the filter?

I got 4 rinses out of this. Maybe my water is really hard. I still think it shouldve lasted longer.

Q: Will this unit work as a final "spot free" rinse, like the DYI carwashes have?

Yes. When the resin is new, the final rinse will allow a spot free surface with air dry. How many washes you get at this quality is dependant on how hard your water is. I am satified with this product.

Q: Anyone used this with Chemical Guys foam cannon? I have hard water at the house and looking to see if this would be a good combo
