I have just received this machine and I really can't stop playing with it. It works a treat and does exactly as it says on the box, can't tell about the longevity but certainly seems to be well manufactured. I would highly recommend as I'm sure it will extend the storage life of many of my products.

This little machine is exactly perfect! The battery lasts an incredibly long time and it is powerful, sealing jars with a very strong vacuum. It is also very easy to use -- just push a button. It requires no special hand strength either so it should work fine for an older person.

Very adequate replacement for any FoodSaver accessory attachment. High capacity battery, impressive interval between recharge. Straight and simple operation, easy time & remaining power level readout. Couldn't do without it now :)

If you dont have one of these you are missing out...this thing is awesome. I eat a min half avadcado every morning, no matter how I stored the other half it woud turn over night. not with this thing around I ran a test with a half in small jar and it stayed totally fresh for sevcen days...Love it...use it for so many things that have saved me from throwing it away before i get to use it...Highly recomend this product...get your dry goods out of plastic and use this thing with glass...I am truly blown away with its performance...bought one for my daughter in colledge and she loves it as well...even said its fun...
