I’ll admit it—I bought this because of the chatter. I kept seeing the hype online about how Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition smells incredible, pulls in compliments by the boatload, and projects like a monster. After finally pulling the trigger, I received this bottle yesterday and wore it for the first time today. The verdict? I absolutely love it. The Scent Profile & Gender Versatility First off, the smell is intoxicating. It is incredibly fresh, sweet, and luxurious. There is a lot of talk about whether this leans too feminine, and I want to clear that up. Yes, it has that sweet, "feminine" DNA (likely the melon and fruity notes), but it is not one of those scents where a man wears it and people think, "that’s totally a female fragrance." It sits perfectly in the middle as a true unisex fragrance. A woman can wear this beautifully, but on a man, it comes across as clean, sophisticated, and confident. Performance: Longevity & Projection The rumors about the performance are true. The projection is wonderful; it pushes out and creates a nice scent bubble around you without being suffocating. As for longevity, I put this on earlier today and it is still going strong. It definitely has the power to last a full workday and then some. Quality & Authenticity I was a little worried because I’ve read horror stories in other reviews about people receiving bottles that leaked during shipping. I want to confirm that I didn’t get that. My bottle arrived in pristine condition—no leaks, completely authentic, and the presentation is heavy and premium. Maceration If you are into fragrances, you know about "maceration"—letting the bottle sit for a few weeks to let the scent deepen, smooth out harsh edges, and blend the notes for improved longevity. While maceration can definitely help some perfumes, I honestly don’t think you need it with this one. Right out of the box, it performed amazing for me. It didn’t smell harsh or "messy" at all. However, I’m sure if I let it sit, it might get even better, but it is ready to wear immediately. The Compliment Factor Since I only just got this yesterday and wore it today (Day 1), I haven’t received a compliment yet. But frankly, I am not worried. I know they will come soon. When you smell this good and the scent projects this well, it’s only a matter of time before someone asks, "What are you wearing?" Conclusion If you are on the fence about getting Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition, just get it. It lives up to the hype, the bottle quality is great (mine didn't leak!), and it smells fantastic on both men and women. Love, love, love!! My new favorite signature scent! It’s definitely unisex! I am a female & was on a cruise in the Bahamas when a life guard swam past me in the outdoor pool. I stopped him immediately and asked what he was wearing. He had been on an island, in the sun, in a pool, sweating all day and still carried the scent. The name of this fragrance might be the only thing I’ve ever remembered after too many tequila shots! It’s very clean, stepped out of a fresh shower smell with a sexy vibe. It mixes well with both male & female chemistry, depending on your pheromones and taste. It last forever, I can still smell it on me while I’m showering and sometimes even on my laundry after a wash. A little goes a long way and the dry down just gets better and better. FYI: I never leave detailed reviews but I had to on this one. It’s definitely authentic!

UPDATE AS PROMISED: This perfume is starting to give me deep and rich Amber tones. Though I still have it macerating a little bit more, I did wear it, about 3 good sprays and it faded away on my skin after 3 hours but what little bit I sprayed on my dress was still there. That is If you buried your nose into it. Was really hoping that it had better longevity. I will continue to wear it and add some Kuumba Amber paste to layer. ✌️💐 Juuuust a few good tips 👍 I initially gave this perfume 4 stars ( for now). Why? Well because it's going to have to macerat for me to be able to judge it's wonderful scent that Everyone is revealing in their reviews. When I opened it today, Friday , Aug 8 I sprayed it several times into the air. The Alcohol smell is Sharp and quite Intense * like rubbing alcohol* cough cough 😷 that evokes images of Antiseptic wipes at a doctor's office. So I sprayed the bottle twice more, recapped it and placed it back inside it's box. Up into my cool dry cabinet it will stay, unbothered , for another week or more, depends on how fast on the needed maceration. This is done by allowing air into the bottle ( remember when I said I sprayed it several times first) so that it can speed up the fragrance components blending together and the oils to Fully integrate with the alcohol base- This is a typical process done with alcohol based perfumes such as this. I will update my findings of it's quality next Friday 😉. Otherwise I would like to mention just how much I appreciate the lovely hinged box lined in felt that this perfume comes in. The size of the bottle was a shock considering the low price tag, plus the bottle is quite attractive itself 😍 I sure hope that this turns out to be a good choice. I bought it on a blind buy after I Googled, The Best Smelling perfume fragrances with longevity. Al Haramain's "AMBER OUD" was the third on the list Available through Amazon.🤗👍 Update: Friday evening. August 15. I tested the perfume again after a week of maceration. This time the smell of Alcohol wasn't as strong but still present. I did detect some fruity notes and then it dried down to a spicy woody scent. Almost too masculine for me, and I still need it to become more Amber and floral before I can leave a positive review at this time. What I did spray on my clothes and myself, happened to completely fade away within 4 hrs. Or is it my sense of smell?? I did leave out the house to run errands and not one compliment or anyone even noticed my perfume -Not even when my closest friend picked me up in her car for dinner out. 🙁 I'm going to continue to allow another week to maceration, and if nothing changes then I will just cut my losses and move onto another perfume that I have in my cart. I truly hope that won't be the case. 🤞

I recently tried Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition, and it quickly became one of my favorite fragrances in my collection. The scent is extremely smooth, luxurious, and unique. Right from the first spray, you get a fresh and fruity opening with hints of bergamot and green notes that feel very bright and clean. As it starts to settle, the fragrance develops sweet fruity notes like melon and pineapple blended with warm amber, which gives it a rich and elegant smell. The dry-down is amazing, with soft vanilla, musk, and woody notes that leave a warm and long-lasting finish.  One of the best things about this cologne is the performance. It lasts a very long time on the skin, usually around 8–12 hours, and even longer on clothing. The projection is also excellent during the first few hours, so people around you will definitely notice it without it being too overwhelming.

The packaging was well packed no damaged was done it came in good condition. As for the cologne itself the opening scent is that strong but soon as you apply it you get that smooth clean soapy scent I totally recommend it for cool temperature like winter it was a blind buy I totally recommend it points to note it's 60Ml which means it is quite small so don't expect a big cologne 😂🤣 but it's a good buy
