It is very beautiful, with interesting colorful photos which enhance the overall enjoyment of using the cookbook. There is a big variety of recipes, most very easy to follow. Review: Delicious! - I am new to this kind of cooking and am finding it an adventure. The recipes are wonderful and the best part that they typically are slow cooked. Once over low heat, you can pretty much step away until almost ready to serve. There is no standing over a stove stirring, basting or turning. The meal cooks itself.

Surprisingly appealing
Just received this cookbook and found it very appealing. The photography is first class, recipes are well written and easy to follow. Some of the terminology may require re-reading to get the instructions clearly.I do not like to bake my tagine, but found the methods described in this book easily convertible to stove-top tagine cooking (the tagine, although on low heat and on diffuser, heats up pretty well and generates sufficient heat and steam to thoroughly cook meats, vegetables, etc. If you have experience with and cook other ethnic cuisine, Moroccan cuisine should be a breeze to enjoy.

Love it so far!
Knocked out 2 recipes right after receiving it and they both turned out so delicious. Miss traveling (thanks covid/wear a mask) and Iโm cooking food from all the places I could have gone during this time.Do wish it specified the size of the tagine though. The first recipe for spicy Kefta with lemon for in my 2qt fine, but the beef tagine with sweet potatoes and peas would not. This book also has other recipes not cooked in a tagine like couscous dishes, salads, and vegetables.

A very good addition to my kitchen
Before I purchase this product I read other folks' reviews which I appreciated very much. After I received this item, I NEVER use high heat when I use it to cook the food. As I used it with care, both cook and wash it. I works very good and every time when I present it onto the table, my family and friends (I used it on several occasions already) I always earned a wonderful complement. I understand the complement not just for my cooking skills, it also for this product's appearance.

Great introduction to cooking with a tagine!
The author provides a nicely written explanation of ingredients and how to prepare meals based on tagine use.

Too few actual tagine recipes
Not much to choose from in each section. I ended up getting her other book, '150 best tagine recipes', which is way better. If you're new to tagine cooking as I was, you will need to soak and season both pieces before first use and get a heat diffuser for gas ranges to avoid cracking and hot spots!

Great little book
Like any other cookbook, this has a handful of great recipes and the rest are just meh. But the ones that are great I make fairly often, so I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
