PGF Gold Tour Precision Hybrid Golf Club [RH]

I have to admit...I was surprised by the results. In the past I have been one to spend money on Brand Names and custom fitted clubs but rarely on gimmicks or flighty gadgets. As I pass gracefully through my 50's, I'll admit I have a couple of hybrids in my bag. And if you had asked me would I replace all my irons with hybrids, well, I would have probably laughed at you. But...I bought the #9, I took it to the course and every single shot I hit was dead straight and spot on yardage for a 40 degree club. The best part is the awesome almost Pro like apex you can generate that helps 135-140 yard shots into the pin, drop and stop on a dime. The easy of use, the clean lines, and the quality graphite shafts all make this a very pleasant club to hit. So yes, I'm seriously considering replacing every iron through PW with a hybrid. I'll play a few more rounds just to make sure the club holds together before I pull the trigger but I have every confidence that it will. There was some scuffing on the face that is unfortunate as the silver metal shows through the wonderfully blacked out design...but this is totally expected at this price point (and would probably happen to much more expensive clubs too). On another note, I contacted the seller because when I went back to check on the availability they were showing no #7 or #8...they were quick (like less than 1 hour) to reply and advise when restocking should occur...so big plus for fast and professional customer care.

PGF does not include a headcover. I guess based on the price one should not complain, but similarly priced hybrids include headcovers...ergo my 4 star rating. The shaft torque seems more like a very firm medium (almost stiff) which is fine and the length is perfect. The head looks nice with a large face and nice paint scheme. Nice club for the price, but requires a headcover.

I’m a 79 year old with a true 9 hcp and have morphed my irons into TM 7,6,5,3 hybrids. I wasn’t happy with my 8 & 9 irons because of inconsistencies ….. would’ve bought TM 8 & 9 hybrid’s but they don’t make them….. found these PGF’s and said what the heck give them a try… Boy was I surprised when I opened the box! I immediately put them on my launch monitor and proved what they were capable of and then took them to the course to re-enforce my findings and now they are part of my bag. Quality 8 & 9 hybrids that have given me back the 15 yards each that I’ve lost over the past 20 years.. Period!

Hood club for seniors

This club had no feel about it, seemed like no matter how good your technique/swing was, you were not going to get more out of the club. I appreciate that the club was on the cheap end of the scale, however, in my opinion it was a very disappointing purchase.

Purchased 4 PGF Hybrids from Amazon 7,8.9 & PW RH Reg Flex Shaft . Clubs where all delivered before date given Thanks Amazon . Purchase these 4 Hybrids as l was struggle to hit my short irons . What a game changer they have made . Golf ball feels firm and nice when strike . If you are struggling with your short golf irons . l can seriously recommend these PGF hybrids . I can honestly say they feel just as good as my Taylor made Sims woods . Worth every cent for quarter of the price ! Big fan on PGF Hybrid Golf clubs , Done buying big name golf clubs .
