Great price for the 14Tb which gives me enough capacity to backup a Synology NAS. Not that the speed matters so much for that, it's really all about the capacity, but it seems plenty fast enough.

And now at a price point that makes a 14tb storage drive a worthwhile investment aa drives of this size are slowly becoming more affordable. There's simply too many positives towards upgrading now. Yes, this one isn't portable as it requires an ac cable, but for an all in one giant media storage drive at an affordable price (even better if you catch it on sale as I had) There's no better time to consider upgrading, and saving those smaller drives as general backup. Time tested proven quality from a brand that's highly reviewed everehere for good reason.
