Not of much use on the freezer door as it only sounds for a short time and doesn't repeat if the door is accidentally left open....which is why we wanted it.

Update: I figured out how to take it off the door to change the battery, and now it works again. One star removed because I feel like it should last longer/be easier to change the battery. Also, after I left my original review, the company reached out to help with instructions and offered me a refund. --- Original update: It worked fine and was easy to install initially. But 6 months later and it just stopped working. It looks like the door sensor and the receiver are no longer paired? Or maybe the battery in the door sensor died? But because it's attached with double sided tape.. not easy to remove and try to fix.

Very easy skull lots of good tunes set up Long & short ones. Depends on how long you like to listen to the bell good quality. Just plugging something to two strips to your door and you're all set.

It works really well and has so many customizable options as well. Volume adjusts from very low to extremely loud as well as the chime option which includes regular door chime tones to Christmas jingles! Very well made as well.

I picked up this door sensor three weeks ago to know when the kids come in through the back door and its working pretty good! setup was super simple - just stuck one part on the door frame other part on the door and plugged in the chime unit in the kitchen. those 52 different sounds are actually fun to pick from - went with a gentle wind chime sound that doesnt startle everyone like our old buzzer did. volume control is handy - turned it down during movie nights and up when im in the laundry room. installed sensors on both back door and garage entry and the signal reaches fine even through walls. few things to note tho - the sticky tape is ok but i ended up using screws for a more permanent fix, and sometimes you gotta adjust the volume after power outages cause it resets. the sensors are pretty small which is nice cause they dont stand out but that also means theyre easy to bump when cleaning. chime unit takes up the whole outlet so you might need an extension cord if you want to plug anything else in. makes keeping track of door activity way easier without being annoying. the magnetic strips line up good and haven't had any false alerts. just remember to clean the surface good before sticking sensors on and maybe grab some extra mounting tape cause the included stuff isnt super strong for textured surfaces.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
