Artisan Robe Long Blue Cotton | Handcrafted Batik Art | Sleepwear V-Neck Casual | Loungewear | Knit Bathrobe | Belted Tie Closure | Scuba Patterned | Indonesia Leaf Tree Blue Forest

Well made, cool fabric - just right for a hot flashing woman living in Texas. Not see through, and the pattern camouflages private areas so I'm comfortable around the house sans upper understuff. Being that I have a tall, long waisted build, I appreciate that the belt is detached and there are not loops as they are always set too high for me. The sleeves feel glamorous and unique, the robe stays wrapped in place, and extra points for pockets.

This robe is a functional work of art. The blue green color is so rich. It's design includes kimono sleeves which mean there is a sort of large pocket that hangs down from each sleeve. What a fun place to stash keys, Kleenex, or even your phone. I like that it is flat cotton. I don't like terry or fleece robes because they get too hot. The only thing I would change is to add another set of belt loops higher than the current ones. (I am 5'7" and high waisted.) The robe was beautifully packaged in a matching fabric bag and also came with a little postcard from Bali with a handwritten thank you note in both English and Bali native language.

I just got this and immediately put it on! It does have a bit of a funky smell, but it's beautiful and well-made. To address some of the issues that came up in other reviews that had me concerned....I think the odor will dissipate shortly, maybe after a wear or two. Belt loops are low.... well, they should be because the idea is to gather material above the loops for comfort. It does have a bit of stiffness like other new products. I am hoping it will soften up as soon as it is washed and worn. The length is perfect for me. I am 5'8", so I needed the extra length as most robes, etc. are a bit short for me. This will be my summer wear as I recoup from a knee replacement. And probably long after that!

I love the fit and color but it’s not quite as lightweight as I hoped.

I spent hours on Amazon checking many different Kimonos/Yukatas. Can't really say I liked a lot, but a few really did stand out. Several Japanese artisans offered really nice quality product but the price was significantly higher. Then I came across Novica and it immediately caught my attention with a huge variety of their product line and beautiful coloring of their robes. It didn't take me long to decide to buy this beautiful blue kimono robe. And i didn't regret for a second. The robe is really lightweight, you almost can't feel it when wearing! Apart from it's appealing look, it is a piece of a finest craftsmanship! It even came in a little laced bag - also made of colorful cotton. The size would be perfect to anyone between 1.60 - 1.70 m (5.2 - 5.3 feet) tall, with waist circumference anywhere between 65-80cm (25 - 32"). Novica certainly deserved all 5 stars from me.

Beautiful kimono but a little impractical as a bathrobe, because: - the big sleeves get in your way - the sash isn't attached so it takes longer to get the robe on - it comes out of the dryer very wrinkly

Absolutely love this NOVICA Cotton Batik kimono robe. I am 5ft 9in and not slim, and I love the way it fits. Hits my legs mid-shin, and it wraps generously. Thanks to the cotton fabric, IT STAYS SNUG. It has pockets and belt loops. The sleeves are not quite like I expected, (being very traditional kimono style) but I have come to like them. You could not sew one for yourself for this price. Very satisfied.

This robe will look good on everyone, short or tall. It has a lovely drape, and the color looks neither faded nor stark. I have no trouble with the sleeves and it gives it a feminine look. It's a sturdy cotton but soft and washes well. Love it!

Love my housecoat, it’s lovely in vibrant hues of blues and is well made (stitched) of actual cotton material. It’s very well made/designed, am pleased with my purchase.
