This is really helping!
I have been using this product since 11.05.22 so nearly a month now. I have to say that I have found it hugely helpful. I have suffered 'mixed' for about 4 years which ties in with what a lot of women say that it can be brought on by menopause. Anyway what began as run of the mill stress incontinence evolved into that plus the dreaded 'urge' incontinence. Now I have come to believe that stress incon is just a failing of the pelvic floor muscles due to age and probably exacerbated by the effects of pregnancy and childbirth (I have had 4 pregs and 5 children) however, the urge incon is odd. I know that at least some of that could be due to psychological reasons like I can know I need to go urgently but I'm alright right until I get near the loo and then woosh! However the problem is made up it is a huge problem that's for sure. Anyway, I can report that after nearly a month of using nearly every day, I have noticed a significant improvement. Using the MIXED program for 20 minutes a day has really helped. The overall effect on me is that I am now much more aware of my pelvic floor muscles and am now much more likely to practice the kegels at random times. The emphasis in the instruction manual is to go for strong squeezes so quality not quantity and this gizmo helps you to work to that. The part of the program the first 10 minutes that is for URGE is meant to somehow sooth these muscles I don't know how it's meant to work but it seems to because I am suffering less with this problem now. I think I can put some of the improvement down to the fact that I am much more aware of myself and my patterns of behaviour (like simply waiting too long to go) but it is this little gizmo that has helped me to become more aware. Overall I say - give it a go. Stress and Urge incontinence problems do not just go away, you have to do what you can to take back control of your bladder etc and this will help you do that. Also it is very easy to use, I use it for 20 minutes in the morning while I'm getting ready for the day then it goes back into its bag until tomorrow. No drama. Thank you for creating this TensCare. It's a really good little machine.

Excellent
Great device for helping your pelvic floor muscles. I always do my exercises anyway, but this really boosts your muscles. I do it each day whilst watching the TV in the evening so it is easy to remember. My pelvic floor muscles have become much stronger which is absolutely great. The machine is not cheap, but it is worth the investment to help with stress incontinence or to prevent stress incontinence which was the case with me. After the first month of doing it daily, you only need to do it once a week to maintain the strength in your pelvic floor muscles that you have achieved. It is easy to use, the battery life seems to last ages. It is easy to insert and when in use, is comfortable but you can feel it working. There is a big range so you can start low, and increase the strength of your muscles by increasing the intensity of the pulse. I would highly recommend this device. The only thing I would say is that I am exempt from paying VAT on medical equipment due to having a disability, but had to contact Amazon 4 times before the VAT was refunded and even then they didn't refund the VAT, they just credited me £11.80 against something else I purchased. Usually Amazon are great with their Customer service, but this was a bit of a hassle but I got there in the end.

Alternative to Tena Lady!!
I bought this device after a bit of self diagnosis and suffering with incontinence since the birth of my son. Thanks to google I believe that Ihave urge incontinence which the device claims to help, but the device also claims to help stress incontinence and can be used for faecal incontinence as well but you'd (definitely) need a different probe. Delivery was prompt and the item came in the usual Amazon packaging. Inside the box is: 1 ITens sure device 2 leads - 1 short and 1 longer one 1 vaginal probe Purple pouch Quick start guide Instruction booklet 2AA batteries The actual product is silver-coloured plastic, small and handheld -quite thick but not as long as your average mobile phone, with a blue digital screen. The long lead plugs into the device, the short lead is attached to the long lead and then plugged into the probe. There are 4 different settings - stress, urge, mixed and tone which is used for maintenance once your bits are all as they should be. I started with the urge setting for the default 20 mins at 25. The feeling is like a lifting and contracting of 'the upstairs parts of your downstairs bits' and isn't unpleasant, and doesn't feel erotic or sexual in anyway. The booklet recommends that you squeeze your muscles during the contraction so this increases the 'pull'. It's also important to empty your bladder beforehand as if not you will not be able to hold a full bladder through the programme!! After a few days use, and more reading of the booklet, I think that the urge setting is not the best for my condition as it seemed to make it a bit worse so now use the 'mixed' setting. Mixed feels similar to the urge setting but almost feels like a periods of gentle bubbling and tugging - again not uncomfortable or unpleasant. I now use the iTens every night before bed while catching up on my US dramas and have increased from 25 to 62.5. After 2 or so weeks of use, I can definitely say that the ITens has improved my PC muscles - I had recently started to wear incontinence protection (which is what prompted me to look for an alternative) but as I am in my early 30's didn't want to be wearing pads for the rest of my days. This device has significantly lessened the need for me to use the pads, and I have had 2 pad-free days so far - something that I couldn't have done as recently as 4 weeks ago, and I no longer look like a desperate maniac barrelling down the corridor towards the loo at work - I can take my time and walk normally 😀👍 and the Toilet Dance is quickly going out of fashion on my team! It is straight-forward and simple to use and doesn't feel like much of anything - as long as you don't whack it on full blast. I would recommend starting at about 25-30 and then working your way up as you become more used to the muscles being worked. I'd also recommend the use of a bit of lubricant as it helps conductivity. After use, the probe can be washed in soapy water, taking care not to get water into the socket for the leads, and the leads can be wiped with some anti-bac wipes like Milton. The little bag that it comes with is a useful addition too as everything is just popped inside after washing and hidden away in my bedside drawer, but also makes it useful for travelling with. I would recommend this device to any woman suffering from incontinence - saves on the Tena lady and even claims to help improve your sex life! Only downside is the socket on the probe is not long enough and should be longer to minimise clean up

I ordered this tenscare iTouch wireless pelvic floor exercises because I wanted to try one that was wireless. My last one had a wire and it was pretty uncomfortable and awkward to use. So I was excited to find this one and give it a test. It's way better than the last unit I got. This one is completely wireless. The case acts as a battery bank charger as well as a control unit. The case is where you said all the different functions and modes. It has five different program modes in all. Each mode you can set the mah from 0 to 100. Which is pretty much the frequency and strength. It seems to hold a charge for quite a while. I used it all week for a few 20 minute sessions a night and still had battery left. The kit comes with a very in-depth instruction booklet and multiple languages. You have to read this instruction booklet to figure everything out. It's a must. It also comes with very nice quality. Lubrication. A nice big tube. As well as a charging cable. It uses a USBC to USB charging cable. It does not come with a power brick but I just used my desktop one and it charged up fine. I found it very comfortable. There were no sharp corners on the edges of the part you insert. It has four little metal strips. It seems pretty easy to clean. With some lubrication it slides in pretty easy . It's not so big that it's uncomfortable. You have some controls on the bottom of the little silicone purple handle as well. It has five different modes. Mode one is a mode that seems to flex your muscles and release. One of the modes is like a constant pulsing. Each mode does something different and is meant for a different type of exercise. Four of the modes have a 20 minute timer and the last mode has no timer . You will have to go through the instruction booklet to see in depth what each of the modes do. I like the pulsing function mode 2 and 4 the best. All in all I can recommend it. Very comfortable. Pretty easy to use after you read the instructions. I love the fact it is cordless and I don't have to worry about wires getting tangled up. It seems great for travel and packs away very nicely. Thanks.
