I FOUND THEM - FINALLY! Kraft Fudgies are back!
This is it! After YEARS, I finally found them again! I LOVE Kraft Fudgies - grew up on them in the 60's and 70's, my Dad and I would share the bag. Once upon a time you could buy them at any local grocery store, then they disappeared . . . for years. When the Internet came along, I searched and searched, then recently (2015!) found these! It's just AWESOME for a "Fudgie lover!" They taste just the same as I remembered them for all those years. I just wish my Dad were still alive to have shared them again. Before he passed away, we used to reminisce about them from time to time and he missed them just as much as I did. The only difference now that I noted was that although each piece is still individually wrapped, they're now in a clear cellophane wrapper instead of the old golden colored wrapper, foil-like material with "Kraft" written on it. But who cares about the wrapper! What's inside is a good old Fudgie! Hope they NEVER go away again!

It's the Original Fudgie!
Ok folks, this is the real deal. The original Fudgie! Not a caramel, not a Tootsie Roll... a Fudgie! If you liked the olde tyme Fudgie, that's what you're getting here. Trust me, I know - this was a favorite of my moms so I ate them all the time as a kid (I'm nearly 50 now) so I know what I'm talking about. Brings back the memories for sure. Enjoy.

True Fudgies
Yes, these ARE really Fudgies!!! They do taste the same - they've always had that bit of "chalky-ness" to them (especially when warm). The loss of one star is because they are not packaged in their traditional gold-foil wrappers, but instead in clear plastic wrappers like regular caramels. While it doesn't affect the taste, they just don't look right sitting in the bowl on the coffee table... But as for taste, texture, etc., they are truly Fudgies! Thank you Kraft for bringing them back - now just bring them back at all the stores, not just Amazon please.

The DARK ones are like I remember Fudgies to be as a youth
The DARK ones are like I remember Fudgies to be as a youth, but some of mine were bi-colored or lighter in hue altogether. THOSE were less intense in chocolate taste and much stickier gooey than the dark, tastier ones. Perhaps I received some that weren't all the way mixed with the chocolate component.

Still a yummy candy!
I didn't know they made these anymore until I happened across them recently here on Amazon! It's been many, many years since I last saw these in a store. They are very soft, fresh, and delicious. The 12 packets total 3 lbs. of this wonderful treat! The individual packets help me somewhat--**cough**--with self-control of eating this fudgy candy.

Kraft Fudgies, 4oz bags, 12 bags in the Order
Yum! I loved these when they were still around - 25 yrs ago - and now they're back! These are the real Kraft Fudgies, which used to come wrapped in gold foil. The Kraft chocolate caramels are a different product, good also, but not as good as the Fudgies. I'm on my 3rd one in 3 minutes, so I think I better hide them from myself. ๐

Good, But....
Haven't tried or even seen these in years. They were OK, but I must say they weren't as tasty as they used to be.....Not a chocolate tasting. They seem like a different recipe .... Possibly the corn syrup?
