Perfect for many hobbies
Plastic, sturdy, heat gun. Great for the price. Not too big and easy to use and hold. Many uses, I use it to dry ink while screen printing or drying a clear coat on small crafts. Best of all. It doesn’t get too hot to the touch, so no accidental burning, great if you have kids or pets. Although, the cats are quite weary of it when it’s on. Lol

Works as expected
Edit to add: May 2026 -I was trying to use this to quick cure liquid polymer clay for a faux enamel look and it just took forever. With my old heat gun it would get it done and get that super shine really fast. So while I was looking at the actual store at heat guns I saw their temps on some the low end was 250°. Then I checked what this one gets to. Only 200°! No wonder it won't get the liquid clay to its shiny stage! So while it's still good to have for embossing and other low heat needs, it's not for quick curing liquid polymer clay. Whomp whomp. But if all you need is an embossing gun on a super short cord this will work. 🤷 ********* It's a heat gun. It gets hot. I use it for embossing powder and sometimes to speed dry paint on a sculpted figure. It's fine. It doesn't take long to get full heat. I bought this to replace a 25+ yr old one from my card making hay days that finally got so brittle it started cracking and the nozzle got out of alignment and started melting (oops)😂. My only complaints with this one is there is no loop in the end to hang it like my old one and the cord is ridiculously short. I just need maybe another 1-2 feet would be helpful. I prefer to plug things like this directly into an outlet. It's not convenient with the short cord. 🤷 I make it work but it's annoying. Yeah I knocked 2 stars off for that. I didn't care about the noise. These things are not quiet, not relevant to me. If I'm being creative in my studio I don't care about noise. 😂 Good price point I guess? 🤷

Value for the price
It’s a nice convenient size but the cord is shorter than is practical, requiring me to use an extension cord, and it’s a lot louder than I expected. That said, it works great and is decent value for the price, so I can’t complain much.
