Novilla is honestly one of the best brands you can go with for mattresses and mattress toppers. Both my friend and I have Novilla products, and we’ve had great experiences. It’s definitely worth the money—you get something that not only looks nice but also matches the size exactly as listed and feels AMAZING. You can sink into this though. I wouldn’t consider it a firm/medium topper if that’s what you’re looking for. The quality feels solid and durable, and the material has a bit of stretch to it, which makes it more comfortable. I’ve seen some people mention a smell when first opening it, but personally, I didn’t notice any odor at all. It did take a little time to fully expand, but that’s expected, even then, it rose better than I anticipated. Overall, if you’re looking for something reliable, comfortable, and well-made without overspending, Novilla is a great choice.

This mattress topper gets 5 stars for comfort- absolutely fantastic memory foam, no back or hip pain in the morning. It fit the mattress perfectly and though I was skeptical it would reshape itself out of the packaging, it did so perfectly (it had a hard crease right down the middle that took a while to smooth out). But I take away a point for how absurdly slippery this thing is. I have a mattress topper on top in addition to a fitted sheet to hold it down, and the foam still slides down the mattress or off to the side. I’m constantly having to shift it back in place. If it weren’t for the comfort aspect I would have returned it in a heartbeat for being a daily nuisance in that regard.

I was initially so happy with this topper. I bought it for the guest bed, and when I tried it out by lying down on it, it felt luxuriously plush. However, a week later I actually slept in the guest bed with the topper, and that was a totally different experience. While you initially sink down into the bed, which feels comforting, the topper then holds that impression of you, creating a hole that is difficult to navigate out of if you want to roll over. I am not a large person, but I still essentially got "stuck" in my own impression in the topper. It was like sleeping on a 30 year old mattress that had a comfort impression deeply worn into it. Maybe some people will like this feeling - like being "hugged and not let go" - I was not a fan. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is well-made and poofed up to the size advertised. There was also no chemical odor and it fit the bed very nicely.

This topper is what it is advertised to be: 3 inches of memory foam. It's pretty soft. The areas where my weight is focused (backside, hip, shoulders) sink, but what doesn't sink is well supported. The guest bed is an extra firm mattress. I prefer a medium soft mattress, so I considered it unusable. This mattress topper makes it comfortable. I've been able to sleep on it and not ache afterward. I'm under 140 lbs. I don't think it'll be as supportive for someone heavier. If you're more than 150lbs you probably want a topper that has more firmness AND a heavier foam density (for durability). I got the full size and it is exactly the dimensions it's supposed to be. For the price, this is a good value. Remember, this is a lower cost option so there's bound to be a weakness. The weight/density of the foam. It's on the light side, somewhere near 2 lbs per square foot. Why is this a "weakness"? A lower foam density will mean lower life cycle. If you sleep on this topper often, it will lose it's firmness and ability to rebound in a shorter time. For me, it being on a guest bed that is not used as often, it's not a problem. For reference on the durability differences, note the typical mfg warranty on 2lbs foam is 3 years. For 3lb foam it's typically 10 years. This doesn't mean that 2lb foam only lasts 3 years, it just means that what the manufacture will warrant. It will typically last longer than that.

This topper has been a real benefit to me. I had terrible hip pain and trouble sleeping due to the pain. The first night I slept on it there was a difference, the pain was not gone completely but a noticeable difference. As the nights have gone by it gets better with each passing day and I am almost pain free. My mattress must have been way to hard for far to long. The reviews swayed me into buy the topper and I am so glad I did. Thanks again!!!!
