まだ、あまりハードな使い方をしていないので実際の耐久性はわかりませんが、フルタングで見るからに頑丈そうです。それについては一部当たり外れもあるようですが、とにかく刃は良く切れます。グリップも握り易く、全体のバランスも良いと思います。シースは色々改造できるので、画像のように左利き仕様にしてみました。試行錯誤して結構大変でしたが、このような使い方もありますよ、との説明書がついていれば、もっと親切かなと思います。なお、コレクションとしてお考えの方は、ファイアースターターをナイフ本体で擦ると、かなり刃が傷だらけになるので、ご注意下さい。

持ちやすさ、扱いやすさ、耐久性、どれをとってもとても良く出来たBuck Knives の自信作。本国では人気作の一つです。 一つ気にする人が気にするのは、これが China 製ということ。(極めて政治的なこと？ だけではないか...) それが1☆減。 ですが、鋼材はUSAで作るのと同じ420HCです(本国からの持ち込み)し、ハンドル材もよくあるマイカルタです。刃厚があってタフな扱いにも耐えられるのです。バランスが良くて、鋼材の420HCはサビにくく研ぎ直しがしやすいのです。しかもこれだけの品がこの価格。Made in USA ならこの安値ではすみません。 『自分には研ぎは無理』なんて考えている貴方！ このセルカークを思う存分遠慮なく使ってください。ブレードがキレなくなっても普通の砥石があれば何とでもなります。いや、なんとかしましょう。これで研ぎの練習もして、knife life を拡張しましょう。 ちなみに、ブレードの仕上げは同じBuckの#345 バンテージ・セレクト(US made)の比ではないくらいキレイです。

ハンドルにがたつきがあり、ねじを締めることができないため、修正できなかった。 それ以外は気に入ってます。

デザイン性は抜群です。 しかし、中国製の粗悪品です。amazonさん、がっかりです。ナイフ買取業者さんからは、中国製品の素材は何を使っているかわからないため、買取NGでした。

ソロストーブ用の薪として小ぶりの木をバドニング中、刃が真っ二つ。 CHINA製ですが、420HC鋼につき手入れは殆どしていませんでした。日本製を今探しているところです。

El cuchillo cumplió con mis expectativas. Tiene buen agarre, se siente cómodo al tenerlo en la mano, es ligero y el filo es bueno.

Das Messer hat sich beim Bushcraften gut bewährt. Ist ein richtiges Arbeitstier. Feathersticks, batoning, schnitzen, schneiden, Feuerstahl bedienen: kein Problem. Da ich das Messer bewerte gibt es keinen Abzug. Herausforderung gibt es nur bei Folgendem: Die Halterung für den Gürtel kommt werksmässig passend zu einem dünnen Gürtel. Ein Plastikstück (kann man entfernen) ist hierfür der Grund. Ist also vor dem Umschnallen zu prüfen. Hab mir im Wald einen Wolf geschraubt. Hatte ja nur ein Messer und keinen Schraubenzieher dabei. Jetzt zum Feuerstahl...Ist ein süßes Spielzeug. Geht auch und man kann Feuer mit machen. Aber der Stahl löst sich aus der Haltung und er ist echt dünn. Schraub ich definitiv beim nächsten Einsatz ab und nutze einen „echten“ Feuerstahl.

Great knife! Would recommend. The small indent at the base of the blade is great for using with a fire steel, its quite a sharp edge in that little nook too, so it creates a concentrated and hot ember as opposed to a spray - a big plus in my opinion. The blade is substantial, thick and very strong - I feel super confident baton'ing through thick pieces of wood. Full tang is the way to go imo. One other cool thing is the removable and customizable sheath/belt loop/fire steel setup. You can unscrew the 'nut and bolt' style system to rearrange the position and orientation of the belt loop and the fire steel holder. The one feature I'm pretty bummed about is that the belt loop connection portion of the unit is fairly flimsy. Don't get me wrong, the knife is a 10/10 and for that I give it 5 stars, its not about the belt loop - AND the sheath is great! My complaint is simply that after one day after this arrived, I got excited and put it on my belt. I went to go over to my friends and show off my sweet new knife but as I sat in my car, the pressure applied to the belt loop portion of the sheath cracked in a way that totally compromised the structural integrity of the belt loop feather of the sheath. The sheath is totally fine, again it was just that belt loop piece. I actually have the knife and fire steel by themselves now and its hanging on my pack, but its considerably less convenient. Sorry for the rant, and again this knife is super nice and very worth the purchase - just keep it in the first belt section or when you sit you'll apply too much pressure to the loop!

Real nice blade. Fits a big hand nicely. Sharp edge. Sheath is pretty good. Knife stays put in it.
