Not sure but I would say yes it naught damage expensive furniture. You might try using a removable command strip to attach it.

How do i make the one that keeps falling off stick? yes i pre-cleaned the surface well with alchohol but it keeps falling off.

Pull off the film over the sticky tape that holds it on. If you did that then buy some double sided tape and put it on.

Why did I not have this sooner? Something so simple has made such a huge difference. My cords next to my bed always got tangled and if I unplugged something it would drop to the ground.
