What model comes with Red lettering for the day or is it red for certain days?

Apparently (my Amazon records say) the model I bought was called the “Seiko SRPG39 Seiko 5 Sports Men's Watch Black 39.4mm Stainless Steel” (It’s got a dark blue face). As I recall, on mine, for some reason, the “SUN” day of the week abbreviation is written in red.

Does the watch have a hacking movement?

Yes. The 4r36 movement has hacking and self winding.

Where is watch made ?

The model number SRPG39 is made in Japan and will have "Made in Japan" printed on the dial just left of the 6 o'clock position. These are the most desireable. Model number SRPG39K1 is by SEIKO but assembled in Malaysia from Japanese sourced parts. These do not have the "Made in Japan" print and often have the reputation of lesser build quality. Both watches have the 4R movement.
