As I Am Curl Color - Copper - 3 oz - Color & Curling Gel - Temporary

This product worked so well! You definitely have to use a good amount in order to see results, but the results are totally there. It gave my curls (3A-3B) a really nice sleekness and the difference in color is visible! The photos show a before with the flash on and an after with the flash on. I used it just like I would any other curling product and I used a diffuser to dry my hair. It does take a bit longer to air dry but that only makes sense! It’s as easy as using any other curl cream/gel, and it holds like one as well. It rinses off well! It doesn’t leave your hair crunchy or flaky, especially when it is dry and you can scrunch any “hardness” out.

In order to enhance a Newt Scamander ensemble for an upcoming event, I was looking for a hair coloring that was subtle and temporary. This color gel turned out to be perfect. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and (if used lightly) shifts my hair color only slightly. Though the color rubs off a little if I run my fingers through my hair, it did not transfer to a pillowcase when I rested my head on a pillow for a short time. However, I suspect some of the color would rub off if my head were in contact with a pillowcase overnight. A light application of the gel did not significantly change the texture of my hair.

Pros: If you've never dyed your 4c hair and want to test it out, this is a great way to do it. Didn't leave my hair feeling dry or falling out (which was my main worry since I have the type of hair that has fallen out from a perm). Washes out in a single wash. Con: Rubs off on your hands even once your hair is dry. While it didn't dry my hair out, it is technically a waxy texture so it will flake onto your clothing when dry if you mess with it too much. Color is subtle, not bold. Overall, I would buy again and try the other colors.

I ordered this product once before from a different merchant and didn't like it. I decided to try it again because I may have used it incorrectly the first time. Glad I tried again with the smaller tube. My coils are adorable and the gray is now copper highlights. So pretty. My coils have a silky texture/appearance. Washes off hands easily and shampoos completely from hair without leaving any problems. My hair is more of a 4a/4b. Soft and frizzy.

I like this alot, I've only used once but then I went swimming at the beach and had to wash the next day but the color was really nice. The color was vibrant and didn't rub off after drying. I saw some reviews about the transfer but I let it dry well and it didn't run while I was swimming. It only came out after I added shampoo to my hair. I used a small amount on the end of my twists to do a twist out and it was really cute. Created an ambre effect. I think I will order the red or burgundy color and see how that one looks. I want to try red and copper together now.
