Meat Free Southern Fried Chicken Burgers, 4 x 63g (Frozen)

I picked these up to try and ended up buying them again the next week. The coating goes really crispy in the oven or air fryer and has that proper southern fried seasoning flavour without being too spicy. Texture-wise they’re surprisingly good — not dry or rubbery like some meat-free products can be. In a burger bun with lettuce, mayo and cheese they genuinely feel like a proper takeaway-style chicken burger. They’re also really convenient to keep in the freezer for quick lunches or easy dinners. I’ve served them to people who normally eat meat and nobody complained. For the price and convenience, these are easily one of the better vegetarian freezer options I’ve tried. Definitely worth having in the freezer for lazy days.

I'm not a vegetarian but I do like Quorn. These had a good flavour to them but the texture was maybe a little too soft. I know Quorn is softer than meat and not supposed to mimick chicken in any way but for a burger I think the Quorn itself needs to be a bit firmer. Like I said, good flavour to them and the coating was crunchy. Decent with cheese and mayonnaise

It was surprisingly quite good. The texture wasn't exactly like a chicken's texture but I didn't miss it.

Quality wise these meat free burgers could do with some more flavour, and be a little thicker. The texture isn't too bad, but does need getting used to. But really lacks flavour considering its meant to be southern fried.
