I was using the older style Victor traps, without the yellow trigger, and would constantly find the peanut butter was licked clean and the trap unsprung. These are a huge improvement over the old traps. I have been using these about a month and have not found a single trap licked clean of the bait without killing the mouse. The plastic trigger is far more sensitive and doesn't let the mouse near the peanut butter with out doing it's job. They are very effective and a bargain for the 12 pack.

The Victor Mouse Traps work great to take quickly eliminate my occasional country mouse invasion. They truly are so fast at doing the job and that feels like a blessing to me and them. I always get the 12 pack because if there is 1 mouse there is 12! They are reusable and sometimes I just choose to throw them away when I don't want to handle the situation. They do take some patience to learn how to set them and I use peanut butter as bait in the little cylinder on the trap. Keep your fingers out of the way because the work well! The size works well for your average mouse except for the teeny tiny babies. I've tried other brands of traps and I keep coming back to Victor. They are easy to clean but made of wood so you do your best.

I have used glue traps and electronic traps, but the one that gets it done is Victor's reliable 'old-fashioned' snap traps. A mouse caught in a glue trap that's still alive is a said sight to see. And electronic traps don't really do much as far as I can see. But the snap traps get it done. No one wants mice in their house. I live in the Northeast in a 100 year old house - there are going to be gaps in the foundation somewhere no matter how much you try to keep up with it. So a mouse or two find their way in. I want a product that is going to get the job done. Period! Victor's snap traps are the way to go as far as I'm concerned.

The most dependable option works more the not to catch mice. Built to do the job if its gets nasty toss it. To set them its something you need to get use to. Use squeeze tube peanut butter just make sure it's stuck on the bait trap side not just sitting on the surface just take your time it can get a little messy. Always keep your fingers out of the trap side of it. If it gets you once you'll remember not to do it again. But that easier said then done.

Awesome traps I had to buy these for a mouse I heard in my subfloors of my single wide mobile home and I baited it with cheese and caught the mouse within an hour as well as 3 more with other traps had no idea I had that many mice running around but we caught and killed them in less than 48hrs still have 4 traps set with peanut butter but haven’t caught anything since the 4th mouse. Easy to set and bait and absolutely works
