ZOKU Pocket Straws Charcoal

I bought this reusable straw a while back and it’s held up very nicely. It’s compact and comes with a case which makes it easy to travel with, especially for a commuter like me. It comes in an array of colors which is a nice touch as well. I put off making this review as I have been mourning a loss in my life. I do believe it is important to write a review in case someone else needed a sleek, durable, sustainable straw like I did. I have to be honest, I bought this straw in honor of my pet turtle, D. I found him dead in his habitat one morning. You guessed it, death by straw (not a reusable one of course). D’s death was especially tragic as this usually happens to wild turtles. It’s true when they say you never think it could happen to you until it does. I’d advise everyone to get this reusable straw so your pet doesn’t die by the straw either. This is my second Zoku Reusable straw, I loved my first one so I got a second one to put on my spare purse - that way I don't have to get the straw when I change purses. It's small, compact but can be elongated for taller drinks, and very easy to clean as it comes with a little pipe cleaner that fit inside the straw when carrying it inside the case. I would recommend this product!

Product was of great quality but the I don't know if the case it came in was fool proof. I tossed it in my purse and when it came time that I needed a straw I could only find the container initially. The cap came off and the straw itself floated around my purse which wasn't necessary the cleanest.

For those that have been looking for a purse size reusable straw this the perfect straw. I am not found of paper straws that some restaurants provide, I am in love with this one. It is nice that you also have the pocket brush cleaner that comes with it, making cleaning your straw while your out easy peasy.

I don't know whether its the issue with collapsible straws in general, just the problem with this product, or if it's just mine that has this problem, but the seal between the parts are not perfect and you get some air mixed in with the drink. Otherwise the product looks nice and is easy to carry around and clean.
