no fire bricks, have to screw on legs and exhaust outlet. blocked bottom air inlet with aluminum foil, front air inlet is best, drilled some holes in ceramic board baffle at inside top of burn chamber for bettet exhaust flow to outlet.

Can it be used for outdoor?

I don't see why not. But it's very heavy and should be covered when not in use. The cast iron will rust eventually if it gets wet.

What size pellet box can i use on this

It is a log wood stove not a pellet stove

could this be set into an existing brick and mortar fireplace?

One could modify it as long as the metal isn't pot metal with black paint over it. Cust a piece out of the middle section of the door and then mount some high temp Plexiglas from the inside and Wallah
