Definitely not a 2400 watt generator. But it can produce a solid 1800 without issue. Otherwise, its been in weekly use on my boat for four months. Stsrts and runs every time. Easy on fuel and pretty quiet. Not a quiet as a honda but close.

This inverter generator really makes a big difference when there is a power outage in our house. Compared to our old bulking generator, this unit is much easier for me to handle thanks to the portability. When we don't need it, I can store it away to save space. We have definitely paid for the quality of this product. It feels strong and well put together, while still being manageable enough to move around. The number of outlets it offers is huge. I had no issue working it once I got comfortable with the numerous switches and outlets. Additionally, We have been using it in areas without convenient electrical outlets. That gives me another reason to keep it around. I definitely called it one of most valuable investments for our house.

Very good quality and design. I knew it didn’t come with oil so bought some and it takes less than half a litre, 360ml. I added fuel and it started second pull. It has auto idle with no load, a heat gun plugged in, when switched on, the generator instantly supplied power without hesitation. There is plenty of room to add sound deadener inside the housing so I will add it soon. It is fairly quiet, maybe an exhaust modification with sound deadening will quiet it down further. I paid $419CND and it was delivered quickly. It came with a good operating manual, some tools and a spare spark plug. I am really happy with it. Long on promise, lacking in effective support, making for a very frustrating ownership experience. The unit works now, but I would not depend on it in a pinch. The Good: -Good price -Starts easily -Simple operation -Decent power in a compact unit The Bad: -No circuit breaker protection for the 110 volt power section, so the unit can damage itself if you are not really careful. -Manual cites features that do not exist and does not include a parts list/diagram. -Tech support is sketchy and undependable, slow to send promised parts, and staff lacks a working familiarity with the unit. I had to make multiple requests and jump through a lot of hoops just to get the support and parts promised, and had to remind them multiple times to make good on their promises. -No authorized service centers. If your unit malfunctions (as mine did), good luck finding someone to fix it. Luckily I am a handy guy or I would be the proud owner of a $360 boat anchor. -As delivered, not for use above 1,000 meters altitude. Above that, you will have install a high-altitude jet kit or risk damage to the unit. In a nutshell: Erayak pushed this product out before they were really ready to support it. More parts are showing up at their web site, but unless you are willing, able, and have the patience to work with tech support (email only) to troubleshoot issues and handle repairs yourself, you should consider this a disposable item.
